Great meal. We had the ultimate grilled cheese, the tomato bisque and the burger. All very well done. I appreciate all the precautions they took. Highly recommended.
My boyfriend lost his mask while walking from the truck to the entrance. I was already seated at our table when he arrived. He asked the hostess who answered the door (doorbell required- great idea!) for a mask and she didn't have one but allowed him to use an extra shirt he had on as a covering to get him to the table I was at only 10 feet inside the door. After settling in and preparing to order, another worker came over and kicked us out for him not having a mask when he arrived. I do appreciate their safety policy, but the lack of continuity made for a poor experience and I would highly recommend they get on the same page, especially since they had the ability to deny his entry at the door.
Great comfort food! Friendly service.
Very pleasant experience
Very great concept of the layout for the restaurant for dine in. Great quality food, menu selection, staff is great
Burgers!!!!!! Rlly good burgers and fries and drinks
Skillet is the best! The 3 outside tents are perfect and safe for parties of 2 or 4. They have a smaller menu than before due to covid, but still lots of great dishes. (No biscuits and gravy right now - waaaaah :'( cry.) Their breakfast/brunch/lunch cocktail menu is awesome! Lots of original and fun cocktails.
Exceptional menu. I definitely got the comfort from those comfort foods
Food is always superb, bloody Mary's are the best! I love this spot!
Everything was fantastic. Especially the food, great price for the amount of food and tasted amazing 10/10
There were so many surprises in terms of the taste of each of our items. We loved it!
Food and staff are amazing! Can’t wait for when they can fully open indoor dining
I love Skillet! Even though I am fully vaccinated and my dining companion was as well, we chose to dine outside. The tent was fine but a little closed in especially since the sun came out. But that’s not the fault of Skillet. They have made it safe and enjoyable. Food is delicious. Service is fabulous. I will continue to dine there, hopefully inside, soon!
Service was excellent. Fast service and the food was great. Huge servings. Fried chicken sandwich was amazing. Great pancakes as well.
You have to try this place if you love amazing food! Off the charts good and I’m picky.
Outdoor tables could use actual space heaters instead of “personal” heater fans. They did not work well!
Easy tent seating outside. Food and service made for a nice lunch.
My 3-person party dined outdoors and felt safe, overall. The distancing measures were good, server wore a mask, service excellent, food was hot, and the drinks were good!
We had the Little Rob and Fried chicken with waffles. Both dishes were great (especially the griddle cakes and waffles). Food came promptly and was served warm. We took the outdoor seating - it was separate tables in individual tents (not clear/transparent, so you cannot see anything outside). There was also a portable heater on the table. As such, not much vibes, but you at least stay warm and dry.
I made a reservation for breakfast at 8 am. They seated us outside, it was very cold, while inside they only had 2 occupied tables. That wasn’t a problem. The problem was that they forgot that we were outside waiting to make the order. After 10 15 minutes of waiting we got up and left. We froze and we left hungry.
I love Skillet and have missed going there. Really enjoyed this visit as I felt safe in an outdoor tent on the sidewalk that had some sunshine. My chicken and waffles was divine. Lovely attention. Can't wait to go back!
Not a lot of items on menu! Need to expand their breakfast menu
Great experience. Got us right In with our reservation. The drinks were amazing and the Bloody Mary lived up to the hype. The things that set us off was that we couldn’t believe how much food was in each portion. Not sure how they can serve so much delicious food for those prices. We would be back in a second! We felt better too that we couldn’t eat everything and couldn’t take the leftovers home and they let us know the compost all the uneaten food!!
We went for brunch the plating is amazing however the food lacks seasoning it was as if everything was unseasoned which made for a beautiful but bland meal. The staff was gracious and it is a super cute spot an the food makes for great pictures.
Food was pretty good, although the breakfast potatoes were a bit undercooked. I had big hopes for the Chaichata but it literally tasted like a flat Coca Cola, weird. A bit overpriced for standard breakfast fare. Highlight was the very kind staff! Loved them.
Dined at this place for lunch today. We got a Nashville hot Chicken and their breakfast skillet. The quality of the food was unfortunately really bad. The fried chicken was too old and had visibly changed color (even after frying, it was brow/grayish inside) and the toast/bun looked and tasted like the mass produced bread from your supermarket. I guess the only upside was that they had dedicated covered seating outside with a heater.
We were visiting from out of town for a dr appointment. Skillet was a perfect spot for our family to grab a bite before heading home. We appreciated their diligence in making the dining experience as safe as possible. The food was outstanding! We’d definitely return. Highly recommend!
The Chub was amazing
I got the chicken sammy. Ok, it seems like I love their chicken sammy, I tend to order it a lot.... It's crispy, yet not dry, well seasoned, presented on a good bun, and with a side.
Food was so good. Great portion size, comes out perfect temp and delicious taste.
Amazing Valentine’s Day brunch with the best crew in the game!
Thanks for serving up the best food and best attitudes ever!!
Ordered the chicken and waffles which the chicken was cooked and spiced to perfection. The waffle was delicious as well, but the chicken alone was worthwhile. Service was impeccable and couldn't have been any better. Thanks again!
Love the food. The waitstaff and cooks are outstanding
Great place.
Days of Covid...
We ate outside in tents.
Food was delicious, and hot!
Tent was chilly (that kind of day) though they supplied a small heater.
Service was very attentive.
Skillet has successfully devised a way to comfortably dine in a modified outdoor setting. Partial wrap around tent wall and table top heat lamp resolves issue of frozen fingers/cold food. Wait staff was exceptionally attentive but not overbearing. Splurged on fried chicken thigh, kale salad and burger w/fries. Topped it off with donuts. Big smile as we waddled away!
I was very impressed with Skillet's outdoor dining set up with covid safety in mind. We had privacy from other guests while still having good ventilation. The food of course was also delicious and the service was great!
These guys have done a fantastic job at keeping their delicious menu available to in-person diners during our indoor dining restrictions... bravo! And I know it’s just a side dish, but their breakfast potatoes today were perfection... expertly cooked and seasoned. It’s a hard thing to achieve. Outstanding!
It was great! It’s very hard to find ways to celebrate a birthday in these times. Skillet was a good option. Will bring a blanket next time though.
Always solid. Highly recommend. Check it out......
