Wonderful service! The food was so salty is was almost inedible.
Food good but expensive, very popular place, not a bad place I just wont go out of the way to go again.
Had the Chub with chicken potatoes and a coffee. Chub was good. Two meals unless you are really hungry. So price is reasonable however the coffee was WAY over priced unless you drink 4 cups.
Everyone’s food was incredible and the service was really quick. Will definitely be back!
Food and service is top notch !!
Sunday morning breakfast. Service was friendly, coffee refills plentiful, food was served quickly, all four orders were delicious as well as an order of poutine for table. We’ll be back.
Great food and service.
I thoroughly enjoyed Skillet. I will be back! The biscuits and gravy are excellent!
The food was decent, one person's fish & chips batter wasn't cooked all the way so pretty bad there. The Chicken & Waffles and Mac & Cheese were good though as was the poutine.
Our waitress was wonderful from the moment we sat down. Very attentive and helpful with recommendations for items. Checked on us constantly and even compnsated us for the fish (which I wasn't expecting or asked for). They truly made our evening and made it easy to leave a healthy tip as an early Christmas Bonus.
I would recommend the Skillet Diner for a nice place to eat with friends or family.
It was good to experience the brick and mortar location for this Seattle favorite. We were there for breakfast, and the menu options did not disappoint. I'm excited to go back and continue trying other items on the menu. Great idea for taking out of town guests. Reservations recommended on weekends during peak times as it is a fairly small place.
The table was great, our server was professional and terrific. The food is terribly overpriced and mediocre at best.
My avocado burrito was dry. Either they forgot the pico or they need to use more. Disappointing choice. That being said, I'll return as I've had other great meals and the service always rocks!
I ate there twice this week. The first time I had The Hustle with no modifications- not great. The sweet bread on the bottom overpowered the savory flavors. The second time I ordered it I asked for no bread and substituted potatoes and the meal was amazing. Very slow service, but the food was excellent.
Friendly service and the food was great. My 9-year old wants to go back for the chicken and waffles since they were so good. I loved the biscuits. Wish the French toast was a little more moist but my husband didn’t mind and ate it all. Will be going back again soon!
Great the best ... would return any day
Everyones meal was great. "Best French Toast" one of us had ever had. Cob Salad was full of all the fixings with generous portions of it all. French Fries were also really great.
Wonderful breakfast! Loved sitting at the bar.
Greta food, great value and great service. Highly recommend!
Fantastic fried chicken!
Talk about quality ingredients in great combinations. Everyone left satiated. I was surprised how reasonable the pricing for brunch was.
Best Cobb salad ever. Great for meeting up with friends.
We we’re recommended by a friend to have breakfast here. Well worth the walk from our hotel. Great service. Quaint atmosphere! Friendly staff. Delicious cinnamon roll with house made cream cheese. Lots of coffee refills offered! Reasonably priced.
Had a reservation. Got seated right away. Food and service was great!
Breakfast with reservation. Did not have menu item requested, as they had sold out. Food served was average in flavor and quality. Bloody Mary was thick and brown, served with tiny straw that repeatedly clogged. Drink flavor was not good. Overall it was an expensive price for average food. Ambience is good, as the diner “feel” is fun. Service was the best part. Overall, won’t be going back.
Food was great - I had the fried chicken breakfast burrito. Bloody Mary was delicious, went at 9:30 on a Sunday morning; not too crowded but gets very busy after 10:30.
First time at Skillet and we felt it didn't live up to hype. Stack of pancakes served lukewarm with COLD blueberry compote topping. My wife's kale salad had way too much dressing. Good OJ and bacon.
Our waitperson was delightful--attentive and good sense of humor. Many better choices in Seattle for the $$.
Huge portions. Almost overwhelming. I took my left over breakfast home and had 2 more medium sized meals from it. Very tasty food. Seats are close and we had young children on both sides of us. Maybe using the back room mostly for families would be a good idea. Servers were very good. Reservations definitely a must.
Yummy food, great service, electric atmosphere
Fathers Day brunch
I would recommend, however, our server was very obvious in wanting our table at the busy time. It would be another story if we were done with our food and taking up space, but the fact that he come over 4 times while we were still eating to ask “how are you doing? Are you finished?” while reaching for our plates was not a great experience.
We made a reservation for 5 and when we arrived were told the reservation was only for 4. We were able to find quick seating, albeit cramped, at a booth. Server was friendly, informative, and attentive. The guy who dropped off one of the plates of food acted visibly annoyed when we asked for another set of silverware (we were only given place settings for 4 people) but followed through with our request promptly, nonetheless. The wait for food was pretty long, especially with a small child in our party, about 30+ minutes for food after placing the order. The restaurant was packed so this could account for the long wait. Once we received our orders, the wait felt worth it! DELICIOUS!!! The boozy brunch cocktails and coffee also did not disappoint. Overall, a good experience and we will be back for more!
It hit the spot for breakfast. Lots of potatoes! Our server was very accommodating. Very nice place to sit down for a hot breakfast in Capitol Hill.
Get the fried chicken and waffles and the Bloody Mary’s!
Our sever was awesome! Food was good. The atmosphere is nice as well.
Wonderful food. Really sweet and accommodating wait staff
Be sure to get a cinnamon roll for the table.
food was heavy and not very tasty. Odd menu items not appealing. Portions WAY too big given the heaviness of the food. Service great, but I would not go back here for the food. Also too crowded and noisy.
Food is Amazing Zara my server is the Bomb!!! Great attitude Great Service Great Place...!!!!
Quickly sat our large group but service was a bit slow- to be expected on a busy weekend morning. Great food- portions are huge- consider splitting.
