El restaurante Skates es famoso en la bahía por su menú innovador, su utilizo de ingredientes frescos y porque ofrece una vista espectacular de la bahía, del puente de la Bahía, del puente Golden Gate y de toda San Francisco.     The food tasted good and the view was great but the service was so terrible it got comical after a while.

    We loved skates but this time we were disappointed. First prime rib was too chewy! And coffee was not hot at all. We got the two dessert but we were full. So we asked to go. But when we opened the bag at home, the server forgot to add our dessert in the bag. Second beer was too late. So we are not sure we come back.

    My first time trying this seafood place , I was not disappointed😃 everything was excellent , especially the food 💕 most of the restaurants when it comes to seafood its a bit salty for the dish. Not in here I love it and will keep coming back.

    Everything was wonderful, as usual. Food, service, ambiance. Brittany, our server, is always helpful, especially in selecting what we want to order. Live music would be a wonderful addition!

    We have always had great dining experiences at Skates, our last visit the food was bad, we had to send the steak back another plate was brought out the meat was so tough we couldn't eat it. The service and atmosphere was great but the food was not. The waiter did say that the regular chef was not in. I don't think we will ever go back.

    Great place. The food was excellent. Great service. Of course you cant beat the view. Make sure to go at Dusk.

    I am a member of the Laundy club and there is always a problem with them finding my account! Even with the card. The food is good, but smaller portions and we are not sure if the value is there anymore
