   My wife and i ate there for dinner on May21. Food was great, service was very professional, but dining room was way too cold! i was practically shivering by the time the bill was settled. Even the hallway leading to the DR was several degrees warmer. Also the lights are a bit too dim for our taste. This is true even at breakfast, when there is the benefit of full daylight. Otherwise, a very nice experience.

   We were excited to take both of our mothers to Sister’s for Mother’s Day brunch. It was okay but not as good as their regular dinner menu. The brunch menu was extremely limited and not very exciting. My mother got the chicken biscuit. It was a nice size but came with “spicy marmalade” which she asked for on the side because she can’t eat anything spicy. I asked if there was anything else she could have on the biscuit but all they had was a little packaged jelly. Not what I would expect at a nice restaurant. I had the frittata which was very dry and flavorless. My mother in law had the salmon and said it was okay. Overall, the dining room is lovely but could use a little more ambiance (maybe some music), and the food is mediocre - disappointing since we thought we were taking them somewhere special.

   The food was great. I have never had lamb so good.The desserts were wonderful. We had the pina colada’s cheese cake and the cinnamon roll with orange sauce. My compliments to the chef.

    We celebrated my birthday at Sisters at Martha Washington Inn. My family and I were very pleased with the menu selections and the quality of the meal. Our server was extremely professional in that she didn't hover over us while we enjoyed our meal. The noise level cranked up a bit when the dining room was filled with other diners. Nothing compared to the noise level at chain restaurants though. We are planning to make this an annual visit for future birthday celebrations.

    I ate an early dinner at Sisters after attending a matinee performance at the Barter Theater. The service was excellent -- helpful and friendly. My dinner was absolutely delicious. The Caesar salad was perfectly crisp and dressed with just enough dressing. My large plate was a wonderful shrimp caprese pasta with several large shrimp, beautifully blistered tomatoes, fresh basil, and a decadent cream sauce. My wine enhanced the entree. I didn't look at the dessert menu. But then, I had eaten four pieces of bread . . .

    We were guests at the Inn for 3 nights. Received three $25 vouchers. Salmon and pork dinners were outstanding. Wait staff very nice and attentive. We also had 3 delicious breakfasts which were complimentary with room. Karen, Josh and Kaylee were especially great. Friendly and helpful.

    Absolutely breathtaking decorations and cute garnishes on every meal, food was outstanding no matter what we ordered or tried. Worth every penny in my opinion, would recommend to anyone looking for a fine wine and dine spot or just a nice relaxing dinner. Gave the waitress a big tip for great service and kindness as well as they brought out our dessert with happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate and I found that very thoughtful and sweet.

    Beautiful restaurant but there was trouble in the kitchen. The service was good but the cooks couldn't get it together, not for lack of trying but try as they might they just couldn't pull it together. My wife enjoyed her lamb chops but a steak ordered medium wasn't going to happen, even after 3 tries. The staff was gracious and comped the meal, but it was a special occasion and we were there for a special time, not a free meal. Noticed we were not the only table having issues, based on that I'd probably take a hard pass. Too bad, it's a gem in this otherwise barren part of the state.

    Wonderful Valentines meal. We had the special appetizer and entrée tenderloin and the red velvet cake all was delicious. My hubby had the ribeye with blue cheese we both had salads and what wonderful breads.

    Sent food back for being cold. Came back barely warm. Salmon was very strong/fishy tasting. Ribeye was just ok, despite being the same price as a nice steakhouse. Very lackluster considering the potential the place has. Won’t return.

    Beautiful restaurant! Being from out of town it was a little hard to find the restaurant within the hotel. However, once found boy was it stunning! We choose to eat outside for this reservation. The waitress was amazing she was so kind and gave us recommendations from the menu. The food was a bit overpriced for what we got. The bread basket was the best thing though!
