    We sat upstairs and the noise level was quiet, allowing for a pleasant meal. Everything we ate had multiple incredible layers of flavor. Paul was fantastic. Everyone was aware of our special event and thanked us for celebrating with them. We absolutely enjoyed this experience and will be back!

    Wonderful evening. Mike is the ultimate Southern gentleman and host. His management of the restaurant makes every guest feel like they are home. Lea Melissa provided 5 star service. My daughter felt well celebrated on her birthday with lovely chocolate scripting on her dessert plate. The salads we ordered were refreshing and creative. The beet salad with fresh burrata made our hearts smile. The summer salad of arugula, fresh strawberries, candied sunflower seeds, balsamic vinegar drizzled with local honey was a song of summer. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese (sans the bacon jam) for us, were scrumptious. Our entrees, grouper in a curry sauce, and halibut in a lighter lemon butter sauce were delicacy dives. The chocolate cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce delighted my daughter. Bravo, Anson!! Always a treat on our trips to Charleston. A dining must for anyone visiting or living in the area.

    The food was decent and good presentation but the portions were quite small. It seemed that it took significant time to receive our food. The sever did a nice job and was attentive to our needs.

    Pleasant wait staff, great ambiance and food was good. The she crab soup was pretty good but a little stingy with the sherry and felt that it was filled with unnecessary ingredients. Stick with just the crab:) thank you!

    The restaurant has wonderful aesthetics. Loved the whimsy horse decor of the small upstairs dinning room. Our lovely young waiter was efficient and knowledgeable. Fried green tomatoes and She Crab soup were wonderful. My only criticism is the portion of entrees for the price. Martinis were on point. Great fancy date night dinner.
