Cascades, a Classic American Restaurant and Steakhouse, is housed in the historic 116-year old Stanley Hotel. Join us for lunch or dinner in our dining room. The menu features wild game, beef, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, pasta and Colorado specialties. We also offer delectable desserts.

Our bar and lounge offers seasonal cocktails and a whiskey menu with over 1,000 varieties. Ask our bartenders to help select a distinctive flight! The wine list offers a selection of sparkling, white, and red varietals to please your palate.

For an optimal dining experience, parties have a 2 hour time slot for their reservation.

    From the front gate, make the first right, then wind up around the Lodge to the parking area behind the Main Hotel and through the gates and go down the stairs or pathway through the gardens and past the waterfall and pond and across the patio to the double doors, then turn to your right in the lobby to meet the hostess outside the restaurant.

    A bit overpriced for what it is but the setting in the Stanley Hotel is super unique and food was good! Service was slow and we had to ask for things a few times (high chair, silverware, etc.) but overall it was a decent meal.

    Absolutely impeccable! Filet and bourbon barrel pork were outstanding. Yanna went above and beyond as our server to make sure everything was perfect. Even when a 16 top sat next to us and the noise level went up we enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

    Overall a very good experience at a very nice historical hotel. Ala carte beef prices seemed a bit high from a value POV. Appetizers were a relatively good value !

    Service was slow. Our waiter disappeared for most of our time there after the order was placed. Limited food offerings and the food quality wasn’t on par with the incredibly expensive price.

    The service was outstanding. We ordered the trio of grilled meats and they were superb. The sides we were not impressed with, under seasoned and under sauced. The Manhattan was probably one of the best I’ve ever had.

    Went here for a tenth wedding anniversary. Prices were extremely high for quality of food and drink. I understand it's at the stable hotel, and prices are at a premium, but the overall quality was not worth the price. Extensive menu of whiskey but did not have the one on the menu I was looking for. If you are staying at the Stanley, it's worth going to for a drink.

    Love sitting outside in the gorgeous patio. Quiet and wonderful ambience. Salmon was very good along with the meatloaf and steak.
