Having been to Matteo’s many times before, we knew what to expect in the way of food. Last night exceeded our previous dining experiences since we had a wonderful summer salad and personal pizza to start. The restaurant was hopping for a Wednesday night with a live singer raising the level of ambiance and conversation 🤣. Dennis, the GM, makes sure he stops by every table to check in with diners. Overall experience is relaxed and feels like home.

My husband had the lentil soup which was too salty and spicy. His entree was chicken Marsala which was too sweet and chicken was not tender. Disappointing. I had beet salad and shrimp Wendy which was delicious.

Food was delicious. Pasta portion was large, Chicken Milanese portion was small. Burata and shrimp oreganato appetizers were great. Loved the crispy real Italian bread.

Food was eh. Some guy in a suit was just weird. Waitress and hostess were very good and nice. Food was ehh and the charcuterie board was a complete joke. Beautiful place though

My wifes dish came out with the wrong food but it was quickly rectified. Manager bought us a round of drinks. He was very apologetic.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE! Let’s start off with drinks. The waiter handed me my wine across my husband’s face. Then they have no idea who ordered what appetizers then they got my entree wrong and not knowing who ordered what entrees. Food was just ok, not as good as it used to be. Lastly, I ordered a decaf cappuccino since it was around 8:30 pm, I was skeptical about they getting the decaf part correctly, I repeated twice. I didn’t know they gave me caffeine until I couldn’t sleep that night. I had to ask twice for sugar, the second time I flagged down a manager to bring it to me. My husband was nice enough to leave a 20 % tip, if it’s up to me, they would get 5% tip, I feel it should be earned from a good service. This place is insane, inexperience workers. They won’t last long if they continue this way. I see many bad reviews about the service and it starts from the top. Maybe you all should be replaced.
