   I’m writing to share a deeply disappointing experience I had during our recent visit on Mother’s Day — a day meant to celebrate and enjoy time with loved ones, which unfortunately turned into an upsetting ordeal due to repeated mistakes and unacceptable service. I ordered my steak medium rare, a straightforward request that was mishandled not once, not twice, but three times. The first and second steaks served were significantly undercooked — closer to blue/rare than medium rare, completely raw in the center. This isn’t a matter of slight preference; they were clearly not enjoyable to eat. When I politely raised the issue, I was met not with concern or a willingness to correct the mistake, but rather with condescension and hostility. A member of your culinary management team came out and told me I was "crazy", insisting that what I was served was medium rare — despite the visual and textural evidence to the contrary. This kind of response is both unprofessional and unacceptable in any service setting, let alone during a special occasion like Mother’s Day. I was then brought a third steak — this time, not only was it a completely different cut, but it was overcooked to the point of being well done. At this point, I had completely lost trust in your kitchen’s ability or willingness to get the order right, and frankly, I gave up. What should have been a celebratory meal turned into a stressful and frustrating experience that put a damper on the entire day. I’m sharing this not just to vent frustration, but because I believe that if a restaurant wants to uphold any standard of quality and hospitality, these kinds of situations need to be acknowledged and addressed. Being served incorrectly prepared food is one thing — being dismissed and insulted when trying to resolve it is another entirely. I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to reflect on both your kitchen practices and customer service approach.

   Great time celebrating Mother’s Day. Food was great and service was excellent. Our waiter was polite and very helpful as my wife has some dietary restrictions. I think his name was Jason? He went above and beyond helping out.

   Lovely evening. Said against the back wall and our seniors with us could hear and see everything. Good lighting and not to much noise. Great server and food came out hot and delicious.

   Great evening. Great ambiance and service. Good was cold and not cooked to satisfaction….but it was a busy night. Usually really good there.

   We live in Walnut Grove and have been to The Keg Langley many many times, we have never had an issue with service until now. We were there a very long time (2 hours) and not by choice. We ate our dinner without ANY quality check from our server (who did not bring our appies or entrees either), nor anyone else. My steak was delicious but my husbands was not - the blue cheese on top was weird and crumbly not like it is normally. Because of no quality check, he was not able to ask for an alternative. My husband’s refill was forgotten. We were there Friday, May 9th for a 6:45pm reservation. Our table # was 42 and our server was Holden. Please provide this feedback as this service was awful for a birthday dinner of two tired parents. Thank you.
