An old storefront in Kingston's Historic Uptown District, a simple sliver of a space, has received a sumptuous update by its new tenant: Boitson's Restaurant. The menu is American, refined, yet comfortable from Steak Frites to Fried Chicken. as well as dishes for vegans and guests with special dietary needs. The dining area is a carefully considered homage to both the upscale bistro and the "old man" bar. In good weather, the back deck, with views of the Catskills, is another of Boitson's many secrets awaiting to be discovered.

Perfect outdoor patio for a nice meal. We took our parents and there was something for everyone on the menu and it was nice to have some greenery for the view.

As usual, we sat outside. The weather was perfect. I was leary about trying the Impossible Burger, but our waitress told me that "everyone" who has eaten it, loved it. I took her recommendation and it really was just like a meat burger. Excellent. The rest of our party also enjoyed their meals. The lamb sliders, I was told (I didn't share) was excellent if a bit pricey. All in all -- we will be back!

We’ve been to Boitson’s many times over the years and have never had anything to complain about. Food is fantastic and staff are amazing. Highly recommend Boitson’s.

Everything is always great at Boitson's but this night the service was what was so amazing as somehow I lost my phone and multiple people who worked there helped me find it. Thank you again!!! I will always go back, you can't go wrong.

Had not been here for a year ..and just had another great meal ..This restaurant is one of my very favorites . This time we had oysters , molasses salmon and fried chicken . we shared a pear tart . Everything was superb . The service is attentive and friendly .. We ate on the deck which was wonderful..

Ate out side on their deck. Felt like you were in a garden. Menu is small but interesting. Had an impossible burger. Delicious. Cannot believe you are not eating meat.

We just love it there! I met my mother for drinks and appetizers and we had a marvelous time! The service, food and atmosphere are wonderful.
