    The Sunday buffet was an exceptional experience… it featured many Joe Muir menu favorites such as the Martha’s Vineyard salad, an assortment of sushi, salmon Wellington, coconut cake, and carrot cake. There were many healthy options too such as fresh berries, shrimp, chicken Marsala, and made to order omelets. The ambience was lively with music and a beautiful view of the water

    Food awesome. Halibut special awesome. However, our waitress messed up two of our courses. My wife’s martini was brought dirty and she didn’t order it that way. And then when they brought her salad, she asked for the lemon honey vinaigrette, and they brought the raspberry vinaigrette. Not sure who’s kitchen or waitress, but regardless Missed the detail and it took a while to fulfill the replacement made for awkward timing.

    Wonderful experience! The service, food, and view were amazing. We spent about $150 per person, but we planned on it and went all out - drinks, lobsters, bottles of wine, each of us ordered a dessert. We sat down at 4 and were there until 7! The staff was great. Always attentive, but we never felt rushed. If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place!

    I held a business happy hour in the lounge area followed by a team dinner. The happy hour was perfect with great service, a large area for our gathering and great appetizers and drinks. The team dinner was spectacular food perfectly prepared. I had the perch with whipped potatoes and it was fantastic. Everyone loved their meals and the desserts. Highly recommend the cheesecake and the carrot cake. Our server was incredible and didn't miss a detail without writing anything down. Very impressive. Will definitely return for my business needs as well as a date night.

    We were referred to this restaurant by Detroit friends. Our server was very attentive and helped make dinner decisions very easy ….well, hard because everything looked great on the menu! This is a unique restaurant because you have fabulous views of the river and very good food! The halibut was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed the extra vegetables. Had the oysters Rockefeller and they were very good, too. The desserts are a must try because they had flavor and the variety made decisions complex. Thank you for a memorable Detroit evening!

    We’ve been to Joe Muer several times and are never disappointed. The food is just wonderful. The drinks are fantastic. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We went to celebrate my mother’s retirement. I requested a table by the window to overlook the Detroit River and they made it happen. The live music was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back. Such a wonderful place to celebrate any occasion!
