Vintage Chophouse is a classic steakhouse with contemporary flair, offering a compelling menu for the true steak lover combined with internationally diverse choices for those with something else in mind. Our award winning wine list features more than 600 wines from around the world. With five different rooms, Vintage offers something for every occasion, featuring our signature Beringer Room with a hi-top circular table ideal for intimate gatherings of 8 - 12 in a semi-private room. Enjoy our contemporary yet comfortable dining room, or relax in our New York style tavern. Overstuffed leather club chairs, or our intimate leather booths are the perfect place from which to catch the game on two 55" LCD televisions. We are the proud recipient of Wine Spectator Awards since 2005. Since 2007 Wine Spectator has honoured Vintage Chophouse and Tavern with the Best of Award of Excellence

    Highly recommended if you like to crave beat meat in Alberta. The value is in proportion to the quality, high quality then it’s not cheap but it is worth every dollar and bite.

    Incredible experience as always, took my girlfriend out for her birthday and was surprised that the entire staff that we interacted with knew it was her birthday, aswell as a nice card with a handwritten note. Food was gorgeously prepared and plated, and the food was as immaculate as could be. Huge wine list to pair with your meal and tasty cocktails aswell. Thank you for making my girlfriends birthday special.

    Steak was absolute perfection! Melted in my mouth a generous helping of mashed potatoes! Espresso Martini was the smoothest I’ve had in a long while!

    It was our first time visiting Vintage Chophouse and we couldn’t have had more fun! They showed us and explained everything we needed to know about the meats on a board at our table! I even got a napkin folding tutorial at the end of our dinner! All staff were amiable and made the experience so much more wonderful. The food was sooo tasty and at a reasonable price! We will definitely be coming back!

    We decided to dine at vintage chophouse after exploring a number of high-end steak places located in close proximity. We thought that vintage chophouse would not disappoint. We were way wrong! The ambience was louder than I would’ve expected, and the server that we had was also a little on the loud side and not quite as pleasant as I could’ve hoped for. The iceberg salad looked like the lettuce was going be thrown out probably the next day. And the Canadian ribeye that we had was exceedingly chewy and did not taste like a ribeye at all! It tasted more like a sirloin at best. Just to reiterate, it was chewy and it certainly was not flavorful like the marbling associated with a ribeye. We happen to know a little bit about steaks because my wife was a former butcher and we have consumed plenty of beef to know our way around various cuts of steak. Even the sides that we had with the steak were not good. The mushrooms were tough and the onions were not flavorful. The fingerling potatoes were also not very good. Based on our dining experience recently, I would definitely not recommend vintage chophouse.

    Hi David, it seems we missed the mark on almost every facet of your visit. Many apologies. If you've seen our reviews that is not the experience our guests have come to expect from us. Usually you'll find a laid-back playlist of jazz and blues to go with our comfortable seating, but we are definitely a bit more lively on the weekends. As for the food, we only use Canadian Prime beef and the ribeye's are well marbled with lots of fat and flavor. We sorry your cut wasn't up to par on your visit along with your sides. Regardless, we would love to have you back and give you the true Vintage Chophouse experience. Please message us so we can make it right!

    Great dinner, some of the best steaks available in Calgary. Had the porterhouse steak to share, and we loved it!

    Highly recommend this restaurant if you like steak and a one of a kind experience. We weren’t sure what to expect but our dinner, the staff, and the food exceeded all expectations. Knowledgeable staff will help guide you through every step of the process selecting a cut of steak. Very impressive selection of wines as well. I Will be back soon I hope.
