We went to Zaytinya, Oyamel, Founding Farmers and Reren Lamen and they were fantastic. The food and service at Carmines was not even as good as the Smithsonian cafeterias.

I have been here multiple times. Once with my family of 4 and once with a big group. Both were fantastic! What a value in downtown DC. I will be back when in DC.

Carmine’s was the best after a long day at the museums. It was a short walk from the Smithsonian’s in the Lincoln Circle Neighborhood. It was nice and quiet even though a school group came in when we did. The portions are family style so everything is supersized but delicious! We are ordered the meatballs and spaghetti which were fabulous. Our server was very attentive and patient with our questions. I highly recommend Carmine’s but come hungry.

This is a nice family-friendly restaurant in Chinatown, I would recommend it for a big family dinner or while touring the DC downtown. The dining area is pretty big and portions are generous.

The size of entrees are family size. We ordered one entree and 5 people did not finish it. No alfredo sauce, the kids were disappointed with the menu.

We enjoyed our visit to Carmine's. We enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs. It was filling, and the complimentary bread was varied and delicious. We love the atmosphere. Despite being quite busy, the waiter did a good of checking on us as often as possible.

Great family style Italian restaurant. Food was fantastic. They had a dedicated menu for dairy and egg allergies, which was important for two people in our party and that food item was so delicious! The portions are massive. Makenzie took great care of us. Would go back!!!
