    There were five people working the host desk and it took them 20 minutes to figure out how to seat two parties of two. Then, during our meal, people were carrying garbage bags, brooms, mops and buckets back-and-forth through the dining room. It completely ruined the ambience of the evening, which also diminished my perceived value of dining here. I have always liked Le Colonial, but based on this experience, I don’t plan to go back.

    We weren’t fans of the food. The food was very bland and wasn’t excellent like references suggested. The service was fair. There was just nothing special or tasty about the food. All of it was extremely bland.

    We had appetizers and dessert at the bar. The fried Vietnamese rolls, the chicken and mushroom ravioli, and the tapioca were delicious. The tapioca is one of my favorite desserts in the city. We had excellent service at the bar. It was a great place to celebrate my friend’s birthday!
