   We had an extremely good evening at 18 oaks. The boy issue we had was the open table app was not communicating with the restaurant first 3 nights. So we would likely have eaten there several more times. The night we were able to make reservations was remarkable.

   Overall everything was good. We sat outside, overlooking the golf cart garage…which was strange. Steaks were solid, sides were average. Overall it was a nice dinner, but there was nothing outstanding about any of the items.

   It was a busy Mother's Day weekend and wait times were 30-45 minutes behind reservation time. But, there were seating available, so don't sweat and the added wait times. For the most part the food was good, not much a selection for kids or picky eaters. The ribeye I ordered was nice and tender but lacked flavor, a good steak shouldn't need salt and pepper or steak sauce. Scallops, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, baked potatoes were excellent as was the bread. For the price we expected a more variety of foods and better flavor.

   Stephanie, our server, was extremely helpful in navigating the menu. The food was delicious but portion sizes a bit too big! We wanted a chilled meal and that is what we got.

   Service was amazing. Best staff ever. Views were beautiful and restaurant ambience was perfect.

   Without a doubt, Bree was the consummate server. From start to finish Briana’s focus, positive spirit and attention to detail was impeccable. The food quality was beyond comparison and made the celebration of our event a night to remember. Of note, the facility does need to coordinate better, the transportation between the restaurant and the Valet parking, We ended up having to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a ride (for a walk that would’ve probably only taken 5 to 8 minutes). The inclement weather necessitated transportation and it took multiple requests to the front staff to finally pick us up and take us back to the vehicle.
