Everything from the service to the food was top notch here! We sat outside and had Peter as our server. He did an amazing job taking care of us the entire time and shared his recommendations, which all were outstanding. Definitely will be back for more!

Had A Reservation For 6:30pm Arrived At 6:20 pm Seated At 6:55pm And There Was ZERO Service Recovery Solution. Travelled From Las Vegas Nevada, Food and Drinks Were On Point Puesto Couldn’t Even Deliver A Free Dessert We’ve Dined At This Location Before And For Some Reason Its Always Something.We Still Feel The San Diego Locations Deliver Better Service. Also If You Have A Big Party Put A Time Limit On The Patio Or Don’t Over Book. This Is Our Final Visit To This Location. Should Have Went With My First Intuition And Went To The Michelson Location. Cannot Wait To Visit The Mission Valley Location For The First Time In September 2025; Can You Tell We’re Loyal Fans Of The Brand Loyal Fans Shouldn’t Get Crappy Results. Our Server Oswaldo Gave Good Service But Didn’t Go Overboard To Correct The Situation.

Love Puesto, but the one in Irvine left me disappointed by incredibly slow service and very little interaction with our table. I know there are things happening unaware to the guests, but it took ten minutes for our server to even come over and acknowledge we were there. I’ll still go back, because the food is so good, but will be more hesitant about going back to the Irvine location.

I brought my boyfriend for his birthday since he’s never been before and the tacos blew him away. He loved it I always love it and we’re coming back with his entire family for his birthday again Friday.

I brought a friend here for the first time. Our service was spotty. Ordered iced got it and never got a refill or asked about anything. Tried a new taco on the menu. The asparagus one. Not a favorite. Our server took it off the bill which I appreciated. Loved the filet taco.

We’ve been to multiple Puesto locations, but nothing compares to the experience at Puesto Irvine — and that’s largely thanks to Stephania, the absolute rockstar of a manager! 🙌 Stephania isn’t just good at what she does — she’s the reason we happily drive all the way from Cerritos to Irvine, even though two other locations are closer. That says it all! Her warmth, attentiveness, and personal touch turn a great meal into an unforgettable experience. She’s a true asset to Puesto and someone who genuinely cares about every guest's experience. The food? Tacos are consistently on point, bursting with flavor. And the Puesto Perfect Margarita? The name doesn’t lie — it's perfect. The vibe, the service, the people — everything here just hits different. Great food, but even better people. That’s why we keep coming back. Huge shoutout to Stephania and the entire team — keep being awesome!

We are back! We had a not so good experience a while back but the general manager reached out to invite us to try again. Puesto is a place our family frequents, especially during the summer so it feels good to be back. A welcoming face when we walked in, very attentive server, & one of my favorite chips & salsa. Delicious tip: you can ask for certain taco flavors in bowl form. Not going to lie, the short rib bowl was devoured! Short rib was good but I found myself digging out all the corn & rice! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I forget how much I like Puesto rice:)
