Imagine combining great food with a Friday night Padres-Phillies game. An email about Morten’s July 4 $69 special caught my eye, made a 5 pm reservation on impulse and discovered we weren’t the only diners wearing baseball jerseys. The meal was fantastic value: salads: wedge salad for my partner, watermelon and feta cheese salad for me; appetizers: jumbo crab cake for her, grilled shrimp for me; entrees: filet mignon for her, 16 oz. grilled double-cut pork chops for me; dessert: apple crumble upside down sundae for her, NY cheesecake for me. Need I say more!? Oh, yes, Padres won 4-2

Meh. There are other steakhouses within a block (Flemings, Huntress, Freddie's) that I should have gone to. I've been here a while ago in the past and I was immediately reminded as to why it's been a while for my return. To top it off, on my way out I wasn't acknowledged by manager and employees who were standing right there at the hostess podium. You're better off going to Flemings literally right around the corner where they are more appreciative for your business.

Great, arrived at 9:45, and even though it close to closing time 10. Our waiter Chip did no make us feel rushed and made the experience so pleasant Was very attentive and helped us along the way

With the exception of drinks and appetizers taking forever to be served, everything was amazing. So glad Morton’s is back to the quality and experience it once had before (it was not great for a while).

I love Morton’s steakhouse & especially there lemon drop martinis they make the best lemon drop martini 🍋🍸 Morton’s never disappoints. Their Cesar salad is delicious and crisp, tomahawk cooked perfectly , sides to pair are delicious!
