   Awesome restaurant if you’re in the area on the Gulf. Great food selection from catch of the day to thick steaks ! Fantastic hot bread and oil with phenomenal appetizer selections. Our waiter was awesome and so attentive from topping off water glasses to clearly the table for the next selection!

   What a wonderful night out!! We’re down from New Hampshire for the week with the kids and this was our “date night” without the kids. Everything was perfect!! Pedro was a wonderful, knowledgeable server and the food and drinks were fresh and delicious!! We talked about making this a tradition for years to come!!!

   We’ve spent a couple weeks vacationing here in Indian Rocks Beach and have dined at a good number of restaurants, and the Salt Rock Grill definitely tops the list. We were seated inside at a window table with a beautiful view. Cocktails included martinis and a custom number called Fire Rock that were made with premium spirits and were well balanced. We had a smoked salmon fish spread and clams casino for appetizers, both excellent. We had three surf and turfs and an ahi tuna for the entrees, fire roasted lobster tails with perfectly prepared filet mignon, very flavorful and tender. Also had baked potatoes with all the trimmings added for you at your table (Thanks Nick!)We followed up with mint chocolate cheesecake (yes that’s right) which none of us had ever had, again fantastic. Our waiter, Cory, was very attentive, knowledgeable and personable. He never rushed anything and timed the courses perfectly. We were there for almost three hours and we enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend the Salt Rock Grill!

   Disappointing. As a local I used to dine at Salt Rock frequently and it has continued to go downhill from the upscale experience it used to be. The experience fails to justify the price. Valet is a thing of the past and once you accomplish parking the lobby provides no place to sit while you wait. Even with reservations and arriving ahead of time, the hostess has an attitude she just doesn’t like her job and comes across as a real snob. We were seated and not offered a wine list. The cocktails we ordered normally come served on dry ice but they were “out” again. The drinks are way too pricey to not be told that in advance. They were sticky and served on soaked napkins. The whole experience is rushed now from the second of being seated to hurry up and order. We ordered a sushi and had to request chop sticks, fries were served with no ketchup. It took forever to get the attention of the server for a water refill or more bread. He was unenthusiastic and could have been better groomed. The pay at table with the server hovering and general rushed tone and vibe has moved the once classy dining experience to just another pricey seafood place. $200 for two people without dessert ought to be a little more elegant. We were there to celebrate a special occasion and I wish it could have been one I wanted to remember.

   Once again Salt Rock was an amazing experience. The food is always excellent. Done to perfection and served in such an attractive manner. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

   This is the place to be for your next special event. All of the staff is very well educated & can answer any questions you might have. They really know how to make you feel like a guest & not to mention the food & drinks here are AH-mazing.

   I don’t remember our servers name but she was the best in the business. Food was phenomenal and she made great recommendations and was so friendly. She was new!
