It took over an hour to get our food online of the salad included chicken but none arrived. The chicken took another 25 minutes. My Spanish and mushroom pizza was cold. I ate it because I didn’t want to wait another hour for a hot one. Never going again!

I felt the food was rather bland. The margarita pizza needed much more flavor. The Chinese chicken salad also had little flavor. A slight bit of a kick but didn’t save the salad overall. Our server was great though. Left our party alone to catch up and no pressure to order or leave. We really appreciated that. The patio area is always pleasant. Will return and hopefully other dishes are better.

We love True Food Kitchen and have been to various locations in multiple cities. Finding consistent quality, tasteful food has never been an issue except for this recent visit at the Newport Beach Fashion Island location. We always order the guacamole and hummus starters. This time the portions were much smaller than usual, about half the typical portion. Also, the gluten free flat bread needed to be cooked a bit longer as it tasted a bit raw. When we ordered the usual spicy panang curry bowl, it came with very little black rice and was more soup like. Even the manager agreed it was not the typical entree that should be served. Needless to say, it was a disappointing visit. Newport Beach location, please do better to maintain consistent standards upheld by your sister locations.

True Food Kitchen is a gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and health-conscious without sacrificing taste. The menu has great options for all diets — the Ancient Grains Bowl and Edamame Dumplings are personal favorites. The vibe is bright and welcoming, and the service is always friendly. A perfect spot for a feel-good meal!

We love TruFood Kitchen and this was the WORST experience. WILL NOT COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION. The minute we walked in the vibe was off. The 2 hostesses were irritated because we were asked to move twice, 1st our table was outside and it was cool outside so we requested inside. Then they sat us under a BIG draft and a dirty table. We asked to move again. Finally we got a decent table with a waitress that took forever to take our order, then she was fake about being nice. She only came to our table to our table once. She did not deliver our food, we had to ask her for WATER and takeout containers for our leftovers. We ordered two lavender matcha's that tasted like milk, sour dough margarite pizza that was tasteless with minimal ingredients and my new air fryer chicken salad with dry chicken and a salad i can make at home. Worst experience and food. Waste of $60 lunch!

The experience was good to great, food excellent, but we didn’t appreciate the metal chairs with no cushions. The place is informal- one could see all throughout the kitchen, very pleasant and helpful service, staff.

We had a 8:15 reservation and didn't leave the restaurant until 9:30 The restaurant was very quiet Waitress cane to us after we were seated We ordered but didn't get our dinner for over 45 minutes We asked the waitress but got no explanation Food was good But service for getting food very disappointing

We celebrated a special occasion on this trip and the team couldn't have been more accommodating in every way. Great table, Food was great, and as always, outstanding service by Jake with a strong assist from Derek. Ancient Grains bowl is the "go to" and my wife gets the quinoa bowl.

This is one of our usual places to eat . . . the food is so healthy and delicious. They don't give you too big of a helping which nice. We ate outside and it was a lovely day. Our waiter did a great job. Will certainly go back again.
