My partner and I are happy to support Julien. He maintains a high level of hospitality: the food is good, the wine selection is good, the service is attentive and the ambience is the best in Bowral. We are locals and patronise a few restaurants but for the overall culinary experience the choice is Julien's Brasserie.

Absolutely fantastic evening had here! The food was sensational and the service from Roman was exceptional. She was very patient with my broken French and very knowledgeable on all of their dishes. The food was well presented, super delicious and quite filling. Serving size was generous without being overly huge. I’d highly recommend the seafood, too. All washed down with a very reasonably priced bottle of French red wine. We will definitely be returning - bravo et merci beaucoup pour une nuit très spéciale. A bientôt.

Superb!! Julien's is our once a month special occasion, this time a birthday and the lovely waitress made it special. We have tried just about every dish on the menu and never been disappointed., The Frenchness (is that a word?) of the decor bring back treasured memories of Paris. Fine dining at its best!! The Positives were the service was great, lovely French waitress, big tick however the food was average/ok, the scallops weren't cooked enough, needed another minute or two, soft and gelatinous. The bisque a little too salty , the sirloin had too much gristle in the cut. We'd expect more for the prices you are paying. Sorry wish the food was as good as the service.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was excellent and I will definitely come back again to enjoy more of this menu. The ambience is lovely. Despite the restaurant being full, it was not noisy and did not feel crowded.

A fabulous experience. Bowral Brasserie is a wonderful French bistro with some beautiful French classics, cooked superbly. Julien is a real delight, charming and friendly and this was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend
