Our mission is to celebrate and serve the presence of the mother which resides above us, within our hearts, within the earth, and in all those who nurture us. We serve cuisine inspired by the kitchens of Mexico sourced from locally grown organic ingredients. Welcome to a seat at love’s table.

The idea of Gracias Madre was first conceived while visiting the families of our employees in Mexico. We wanted to do both; offer organic Mexican food to the communities we serve as well as honor the mothers who work tirelessly in the kitchens of Mexico and often live without their husbands and children while they work side by side with us in California. Inspired by some of the recipes of these families and the love of their mothers, Gracias Madre serves organic, farm fresh, locally sourced food, full of flavor and love with a menu spearheaded by Executive Chef Alan Sanz and agave-based cocktail program by Beverage Director Maxwell Reis.

This was a friends’ outing on a weeknight. With the exception of one mocktail which was not to my friend’s tastes (no fault of the kitchen at all!), everyone loved the food. I was the only vegetarian at the table, so that is the highest praise I can give. We ordered appetizers, mocktails, and mains. Presentation was excellent, ambiance was so good some young women unaffiliated with our group were doing a little Insta photoshoot in the corner. Mezcal, in addition to tequila, on the menu. The jackfruit dishes were a good balance of flavour and texture. The prices were reasonable— neither cheap nor expensive in comparison to other restaurants with similar cuisine and ambiance. Staff was very professional: polite, ready with recommendations, and accommodating. All in all, this was one of my most enjoyable, satisying dining experiences in this area in recent months. I will definitely be returning.

Love the place. The ambiance is super nice and I like the fact that it's semi-outside. The food here is delicious. If you're worried about vegan food, don't be. Just come and try stuff. The tacos are fantastic, the crunch wrap is amazing, all of the desserts are fantastic and the roasted colofour, as I think they spell it, is just outstanding. They have some really good and unique mixed drinks so definitely check out that part of the menu too.

The food was flavorless. The queso fundido and the breakfast burrito are not what they used to be and those were my go to items. It was very disappointing. The service from the bus boys was good but from our own server it was not. We only got checked on once and then we waited too long to pay. We had to go and find someone to help us close out the bill. I’ve never minded driving an hour for this place and I can sadly say I won’t be back.

We ordered five items: 1. Coliflor starter which was the best 2. Enchiladas - the corn tortilla was so hard, it could not be cut with a knife very poor 3. Chile broth was lukewarm/cold very poor experience 4. Some of the pasta was undercooked/tough: lacked salt 5. Cheesecake was good The overall experience was very poor considering the $ amount paid. I will not be returning to this place. I came to this place with my wife and my mother based on a strong recommendation from my colleague. I do not know if this was a one off experience, but above is the summary of my poor experience at gracias Madre. I will not be returning to this place.

Really loved the ambiance! very pretty restaurant. The quac and vegan quesso was super tasty. Loved the crunch wrap, never had it be vegan before and I loved it. Highly recommend this place for a big group and wanted really tasty vegan food.

Fruit jack carnitas incredible and huge portion. Same with enchiladas. Both in incredibly delicious and definitely share them. One is enough for two people.
