The food was very delicious. We had the blackened redfish with the braised short-ribs the first night. The two shrimp on top of the redfish were very large and the braised short ribs were very tender. The second night we had the shrimp and grits and the double grilled pork chops. Again the food was very delicious. The seating was in the bar area and was rather noisy but we still enjoyed a great dinner.

Overall, it was a great experience at the breakfast buffet. We were late for our reservation; however, the hostess did a great job getting us seated. Food selections were wonderful, with a full egg and omelet station. Instead of pancakes on the line, you were able to place an order, and they put them out quickly. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone who is looking for a buffet breakfast.

Went for Sunday brunch, and was pleasantly surprised with a nice buffet! It was a step up in quality and price from the usual hotel buffet. Omelet station was a hit, fruit was fresh and delicious, and service was good. Music was nightclub-level loud when we got there, but server kindly offered other seating and turned it down. Warning: you will have to sign up your car with some parking company. Parking is free with the QR code at the restaurant, but you still have to fill out the form and enter a credit card number. Likely won’t be back due to that nonsense. There are plenty of nice places to eat that have parking without such hurdle-jumping.

Buffet was nice with good food options. They were understaffed for servers to bring beverages or bring checks, plus were charging addded gratuity even though had little to no service.

Beautiful setting from the patio. Our view was unbelievable. The food was nothing to write about. It was an overpriced buffet.

Absolutely Outstanding Mother’s Day Brunch and Unforgettable Birthday Surprise! We had the pleasure of celebrating Mother’s Day at Sweetfire Kitchen at La Cantera Resort and Spa, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. The brunch spread was impressive—an elegant and diverse selection of fresh, flavorful dishes that satisfied every palate at our table. Every bite was a reminder of how much thought and quality goes into their cuisine. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the genuine hospitality of the team. Not only did they create a beautiful Mother's Day atmosphere, but they also went the extra mile to sing Happy Birthday to my son. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made him feel incredibly special. The joy on his face was priceless! This wasn’t just a meal—it was a celebration made perfect by a team that clearly cares about their guests. Thank you to everyone at Sweetfire Kitchen for making our day so memorable. We’ll be talking about this brunch for years to come!
