   Can’t say enough about the staff we were well looked after even though they were very busy,the food was good and the beer went down very well

   Lovely, tasty, food, clearly homemade and cooked to order. Quality ingredients and very well cooked and presented. Took a little while to come but worth the wait. Good service, very friendly comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

   A little disappointing - they had no idea of our booking! Apparently they weren't open until 1.00 , but as we were there the lady did open up for us. Food was okay - I had fillet of cod, which was lovely but the Chantenay Carrots had not been peeled, which is fine if you're going to clean them, they had not been topped and tailed, which again I know is the in thing, but at leadt make sure their tops are clean green shoots not mangy old brown ones. The fish had a sauce, but because the plate was a complete plate, instead of side dishes for veg or chips meant they were all soggy from the sauce. The other meals were okay , but don't think the portions are exactly value for money.
