   They offered only a fixed menu for $80. I had no idea they were going to do that. Had picked the restaurant because of their menu and then had to eat something I didn’t really want. Food was good except beef Wellington was tough. Wouldn’t go back for the prices.

   This place has gone downhill in a matter of just a couple months. We walk in and were surprised by this special menu that was $80 per person and restricts you to three choices. There was no holiday or reason at all to do a limited menu. The portion sizes were much smaller and the wait to get our meal was over an hour, and our entrees were lukewarm at best. Also the first time the escargot came out in an appropriate dish with little cups but this time they were just all thrown in a little bowl about half the portion size from the last time. Very disappointed in this place this time around. Certainly not worth the $230 for 2 that I ended up paying.

   Food and ambiance was five star. Service was bad and there was no air conditioning. Unfortunately we won’t back due to service. We had a graduation dinner that was ruined due to service.

   Unique options on the Prix Fixe menu. Exceptional meal and service with a satisfying portion. Can't wait to go back.

   We had a wonderful experience. Food took longer to be served than expected but our waiter was very nice and helpful. It didn’t feel rushed and we have time to have pleasant conversations. When food arrived it was delicious. Definitely we will be back when visiting Lubbock again.

   This was our first experience at Chez Sami and we really enjoyed our food. Our dinner was a Prix Fixe tied to a local winery pairing and we were not disappointed.

   We came here for Valentine’s Day, and the food was exceptional. The service was great. We would definitely come back.  I love the fact that I can bring my own wine because I’m a little bit picky about that but the $10 corking fee is too high.
