   I’m a huge fan of Fixins and have been to almost all of the locations. This visit I had a couple issues: Oxtails need to be browned more and fat rendered. Red beans needed to cook about 15-20 minutes longer. My others sides and fried chicken were spot on. Of course, I am always comparing to the other locations! Please share feedback with the local chef. This is only constructive criticism. I still love Fixins and Kevin has done a great job opening these great locations. I still recommend all Fixins locations💯

   This was my first time visiting and everything was exceptional. A friend and I both ordered the fried chicken dinner that comes with two sides each. I ordered the candied yams and macaroni and cheese while my friend had greens and black eye peas. The texture of the yams were perfect, meaning they weren’t mushy. The greens had a nice taste of vinegar packing a lot of flavor and the black eye peas were also delicious. The macaroni and cheese was good although I’d prefer the dish to have a cheesy, baked crust on top. The sweet tea was flavorful and sweet and I enjoyed the banana pudding for dessert - it is more of a mousse which I enjoyed. Another mention is the chicken dinner comes with an option between corn bread or a biscuit - we both chose the corn bread which comes with a sweet, whipped butter. Service was great, the energy and music was appropriate and upbeat all while not being too loud (to me) so I’ll definitely be back.

   Magnificent experience. Seated promptly. Wait staff came immediately. I ordered fried chicken thighs. Super big pieces and crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. Also tried the fried deviled eggs. I was skeptical at first but they are so delicious, you have to add the hot sauce. Couldn’t stop eating them. The charred okra with bacon. I love okra, but never had it charred, after eating them charred i don’t them any other way. Lol! Everyone was nice, manager came to the table to make sure we were happy with everything, which we were. We only waited 10 minutes for our food and came out piping hot. Definitely will be back. Food is not expensive.

   Great food and service. We were seated immediately. I had wondered if Kevin Johnson ever came to the city to visit. A few minutes later Kevin Johnson comes walking in there. Definitely a nice experience

   It was a beautiful family experience. The manager, service,food just the overall experience was outstanding. I’m coming back for sure and I’m telling everyone I know

   This is my Second time here I come back because the service and Food is exceptionally good. And I like the drink with the frozen pineapple in it!
