Outstanding Brunch, great service, food was varied and uniformly excellent. Don’t miss this brunch if you are In Nashville on a Sunday morning!
Food was unbelievable, bottomless brunch is worth the money. Great variety and staff is super accommodating. Would definitely go back.
Amazing food. So many delicious options! Very cool vibe.
Went there to celebrate my birthday. Love breakfast food and this place did not disappoint! The concept was fun, with the breakfast stations. The drinks were good, both mimosas and bloody marys. I’m trying to come up with my next reason to come back and celebrate something else with brunch here.
Very cool atmosphere, great brunch menu with build your bloody Marie’s! Great place that we will be back to
The food was quite good and the ambiance of being an old theatre was really interesting. The wait for our food was longer than I would expect. If you aren’t in a hurry, it is a wonderful time. The waiter was very helpful. Besides the long wait to receive your food after ordering the only other complaint I would mention is the mixed drinks weren’t worth the 14.00 price. I’ve lived in Nashville, and other large cities and for a 14.00 mixed drink I would expect it better.
We really like sinema. Wish I could have given 5 stars but the disorganization of seating, time to be seated, and having to wait continually for food ( fried chicken, strawberries, biscuits) to be brought out was very annoying and showed verrry poor management.
I had ben looking forward for this adventure for months. The set up was amazing and the concept ison point. But the food was cold except for the fried chicken and gravy. I wanted to experience everything, so I ordered the bottomless. The potatoes had no warmth to them at all. It was difficult to taste the seasoning because it was that cold. The fried chicken was amazing and HOT. The vegetarian gravy was over the top. The waffles were cold. I got the Mexican egg--which was runny and the stuff underneath the egg was unappealing and cold. The crepe was very good, The French toast has just bland. Overall,
it was not a good experience and especially for the price
I loved the ambiance, and the decor. Our Waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. The food service was very delayed (they comp'd dessert) and the Corzetti which 2 of us ordered was not what we expected. The corzetti pasta was dry and chewy. The menu mentioned butternut squash and ricotta and there was very little of it -- we asked for more ricotta.
The food was poor in quality. The fried chicken had no taste. The waffle bar was good.
I was celebrating a great occasion and the restaurant was phenomenal! The food was great and the movie selections for the time we were there were hilarious! Our server was likely overwhelmed yet he made it through just fine. I have been for Happy Hour but never for brunch. I am glad I decide to host on Sunday!
It was fair. We sat upstairs and I sat on the sofa and it was uncomfortable. It sat low compared to the table and I had to stack a bunch of pillows against my back.
The carpet on the stairs was dirty and looked as thought they had not been swept or vacuumed lately. It was an average experience. Maybe I had my hopes sets too high since you need reservations for brunch and all.
Yes, just don't order the buffet. Service is very good.
Went to the restaurant expecting to have a great brunch with a good friend, well it was totally different from that! This was my first time at the restaurant, and I was excited! Soon as I went, the hostess told me “I let your party know that you can only sit here for a hour and a half because we have a party of 7 coming in”. I was shocked! I had made my reservation through Open Table earlier during the week and was wanting to have a great brunch experience! I requested a booth but could have been told once booking the reservation that getting a booth would depend on the time you came. At that moment, I just wanted to leave but my friend had came just to go to this restaurant! It was both of our first time here, and now I never want to return! It was unbelievable as I asked my waiter if we could go ahead and move because after an hour and a half I was not going to get up. I felt rushed! The hostess then came back over stating “if it helps, we tell everyone they have a hour and a half for their visit”. Honestly, I have NEVER been to any restaurant that told me and my friend we’re on a time limit. The only good thing about this was my waiter was nice and mimosas were good. Service from walking in however, terrible! Never will I recommend to anyone!
This place is really a nice setting, it is an old cinema, with movie star pictures lining the walls. The booths have tall backs so it is private and not loud. Our group of 5 women enjoyed our food very much. Just know that the drinks are very expensive so it changes this 2 star for price to a 4 star if you have a couple drinks. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and the dessert was NOT free, I found that very cheap on their part considering we were all having drinks, some had coffee after dinner or an after dinner drink, appetizers, full meals, etc., but they did not provide a free dessert for a b-day! They did put a candle in it. Their drink menu is a bit odd with weird drinks and the waiter didn't know anything about alcohol, so it took a long time for us to decide on drinks, and then they were out of the beer my friend ordered. The waiter never brought her second choice, so we stopped a different waiter and he said that drink menu we had was 'old'. The food was very tasty, though!
Awesome place and food!
Love, love, love....drive from Chattanooga, not disappointed, the fruity pebbles French toast is to die for
Saturday brunch was a wonderful experience with many options for food!
Awesome food, excellent service with a great atmosphere. Thanks for making our anniversary so special with the flowers and note. We really enjoyed this restaurant and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special evening out.
The decor and location drives this restaurant as the food is nothing special and pretty expensive for the selection, quality and quantity. Avoid the chicken-overcooked, dried out and lacked flavor. Fortunately, our friends fared better with the $45.00 steak frites which he raved about. The she crab was very good as was the pear salad. Scallops were ok but the orzo underneath them was phenomenal. Portions were not large so be prepared to order more than an entree. Beware of the cheese trays, I’d been warned by a recent diner. Tiny selections for a big price-rip-off.
Both desserts were a disappointment clearly not fresh and pretty skimpy. The ice cream sandwich cookies were about the size of a vanilla wafer and quite hard. Ditto the chocolate brownie. Not worth the calories or money.
Our server was quite a bright spot-she did a great job but, sadly, the kitchen sabotaged her best efforts.
Doubt this review will make the cut in Open Table. Beautiful place but the food and menu needs a major overhaul.
Maybe our table was so wobbly and Our waiter greeted us then we didn’t see him for like 15 to 20 minutes so manager took our order. It was our anniversary and sitting right next to another couple is not very romantic.
Great experience. Food was nearly perfect except for a slightly overcooked brownie compo of the dessert. But every other course was to the letter supreme and on target.
Server was attentive and never left us for long without checking on our needs which were ALL MET.
Really enjoyed this restaurant!
Cool space. Manager checked in with us multiple times. Great food offerings. Lived the bottomless Bloody bar.
Something not right about this group: not in sync...food OK, amount of time it took to get meal was abysmal...don’t bother
Enjoyed every part of our experience! Our server was fantastic and the food superb! Highly recommend,,,,
The food was amazing (and I’m not a fan of buffet style dining), the staff was very attentive (Eric V. was an awesome server). Overall a great experience.
We had a great experience at Sinema. We were well cared for and all of the bars were well-stocked and looked amazing. There is a waffle bar, biscuit and gravy bar, pastry and fruit bar, usual suspects bar (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) and Bloody Mary bar.
Food was excellent, services was top notch, atmosphere and decor was great!
Amazing dinner, food, service and cocktails were all incredible!
It was quiet, server was knowledgeable and attentive, ambience was perfect. Really enjoyed ourselves!
So much fun for a group of girls! Service is slow and food is buffet style, but the ambiance is great!
Food and ambiance was great. Very cozy booths throughout the restaurant
Excellent food and service. Rebecca was our Server, she was knowledgeable and very gracious.
Sinema has been a hit with me since it opened and it never fails to deliver a great experience: imaginative food choices, very attentive service, a great bar, and excellent ambience.
The food was good, but not worth the premium price. The service, however, was personal and excellent.
Everything from the moment we stepped in the door to the hostess, bartender, and especially our wait person was absolutely amazing!
From the outside, Sinema looks like a movie theater in a strip mall. You walk in and it is a cool oasis with a beautiful, Art Deco vibe.
We came at Happy Hour. They had a nice selection of drinks and appetizers on special. The bartender was an artist at making our cocktails. They were very good! He was very nice and attentive! We sat in the bar area and enjoyed our drinks for quite awhile because it was so pleasant!
The hostess was nice to hold our reservation for dinner and sat us in a big booth. There were beautiful light fixtures and photos of stars in the dining area.
Our server was absolutely exceptional! She was personable, knowledgeable, and just wonderful!
We all ordered something different. Everyone was raving over their food!
It was all good!
Our experience at Sinema was wonderful and we will be back!
Great atmosphere. Service was excellent. We came for Sunday Brunch and everything was great. The entire family enjoyed themselves. Apparently the restroom was a hit.......the girls took advantage of the selfie photo ops.
Brunch is overrated, ambiance is amazing, service is amazing. I would recommend going for dinner.
