This was overall a phenomenal experience. The ambiance and service was exceptional, and the food was even better than expected. 10/10 would recommend.
We drove an extra 90 miles just to have dinner in this wonderful restaurant. It was well worth the time and effort. Our server was personable, the food was some of the best we’ve had in a long time and the Simon Pearce ambiance was inspirational.
Perfect in every way.
Our choices were both outstanding and the service was exceptional, the view is stellar during the day, but once it gets dark you can't see the river.
The waitress was not friendly at all.
The table location was not what we would like.
Did a great job during COVID of limiting capacity, spreading out tables, using disposable menus, and enforcing mask wearing. The atmosphere couldn’t be nicer, but it wasn’t stuffy and lunch was kid-friendly (kid menu with crayons and the server was very kind to my 4-year-old). The service and food were excellent and we can’t wait to go back.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Different than most restaurant environments and very worth the visit.
Friendly professional staff with delicious choices for meals. Love the ambiance! Request a table by the window!
Another fabulous meal! Delicious food year after year. We have been coming here since 1986 I think, special every time. The variety on the menu made choosing difficult. The chocolate cake for dessert was sublime. Courteous staff made everything easy. Thank you!
We always try to celebrate my birthday and our ansiversary at Simon Pearce. As usual it was very enjoyable.

First - I LOVE Simon Pearce. I have been going there to eat for years, and have many pieces in my home. I always order the Sesame Chicken, as it's usually fantastic. It was saltier than usual - too much so, and hardly had any ginger - which really adds to the sesame chicken. As I said, I've been going for years, so this definitely won't stop my returning, just thought you may want to know so you could fix it.
All great. Loved our seating by the window. Service was perfect.
We went here for our First Anniversary (a couple of days early)! Not sure how we pulled off the last minute reservation...
Wonderful food, beautiful environment, great service!
The cod and pork chops are the way to go!
one of the best meals I've ever had. Every item we ordered was fabulous, our server was knowledgable and gracious, and the view was fabulous. It was our wedding anniversary, and we can't imagine a better celebration.
Delicious lunch. Excellent service. Beautiful setting.
Fabulous delicious menu w Vermont flavors
The outdoor air being driven by overhead fans makes the dining room very chilly. Wish we had been worn to wear our jackets! Food this time not so great. The chicken in my chicken sesame dish was overcooked and tough. The other two guests with me were not enamored of their choices either. Nobody asked how the lamb burger should be cooked so it too, was overdone. I have eaten here many times but must say that this time was the first when I was disappointed.
Enjoyed sitting on the patio with wonderful river views and excellent food and service.
Simon Pearce Restaurant is a very attractive building in a stunningly beautiful location. We visited at night, in the midst of the COVID pandemic, so the general ambiance was a little subdued. But the food was really superb! The appetizer alone (crispy duck confit) was worthy of a meal in itself, and the snapper and the halibut each to die for, but in very different ways. The service was fine, although with the restrictions due to COVID we did not have much opportunity to chat with our waitress. Perhaps the biggest surprise was the bill; we expected excellence, but we did not expect the relatively modest price; appetizer, drinks, main dish, and desert for two came to $140 (not counting the tip)! I unreservedly recommend this restaurant—but make reservations!
Good food, good service and very attentive waitstaff. Simon Pearce always comes through as a winner for a special dinner occasion.
Nice place. Good food. Exceptional views. Wish they had hamburgers and French fries but that forced me to eat a lot healthier 😁
Simon Pearce is a must visit! Fabulous food, friendly wait staff and amazing views!
I have been to Simon Pearce many times and it is uniformly very good. A very comfortable and welcoming restaurant. The food is very good.........a bit more variety in the menu would be welcomed.
The food was awesome! We started off by ordering two blue moon sparklers! Cheers to the weekend! They were so delicious! Then we ordered the Vermont cheddar soup which just hit the spot. Savory and delish. For lunch we ordered the stuffed + roasted local squash and the pan roasted Faroe Islands salmon! We weren’t disappointed. We shared everything and it was all good! We ordered two more blue moon sparklers to end the meal. Overall I would say the price and everything was very fair especially because we enjoyed everything we had including the drinks. I wish we had gone on Saturday because I definitely would have tried more drinks, just means we will have to come back!
We went to lunch on the enclosed deck at Simon Pearce; overlooking the river, falls, and fall splendor. They were able to accommodate with vegan options which were delicious. The glassware was stunning and I think our favorite part may have been sipping hot apple ciders (alcohol in mine) from gorgeous Irish coffee glasses made in house! Hit maybe it was the Apple cider sorbet... either way, 5 star experience with a gorgeous glassware shop and studio attached.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Will go back again!
Food generally excellent and creative. Short ribs fab, and the broccoli ap super tasty. The halibut (special) was overdone and under-saucy, but our server immediately got more sauce. We wish we’d asked for her guidance in ordering, because she clearly had a strong knowledge of the menu. Wine was lovely, service perfect, and the atmosphere can’t be beat. We felt safe and taken care of, and it was a great locale for our anniversary dinner.
Everything was wonderful especially our server Sue. We received excellent service and had table looking right at the falls. The food was really good and enjoyed by all.
Excellent food and drinks. All in a quiet setting in Quechee VT overlooking the river/waterfall. With COVID, the glassblowing was not open, but you could get access to the falls for pictures from outside the restaurant.
A delicious meal with a spectacular view during foliage season. The restaurant is following the COVID-19 guidelines well so we felt safe. It was the first meal I have had in a restaurant since before the pandemic and was happy this was the one I chose.
Wonderful meal, as always.
Really good, creative meal. Not cheap, but certainly worth every penny. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice spacing of tables.
Always fabulous when we eat here. Everything perfect.
What a lovely place to relax and unwind for a special occasion. The ambiance (besides a waterfall), lovely serving pieces (all Simon Pierce), attentive wait staff and delicious food is exemplary. Just be aware that it is a pricey experience but well worth it.
