Excellent waiter! Food was good. Menu is still limited.
Food and service was excellent but they put us next to a table of 6 people that were so loud and disruptive and honestly we came for a quite dinner and the Place was empty so didn’t understand why we couldn’t be put far away from them especially during covid!
Good food and service.
Usually love the scallops but not so much this time. Coating was tough and
Scallops over done.
Our food was great! From appetizers to our entree. I ordered the grilled cheeseburger and fries with a side of aioli and it was delicious! Our server was nice in the beginning but unfortunately some of the guests arrived late and as we were waiting our waiter appeared impatient and irritated with how long it took for everyone to arrive and then order (sorry!) like any dinning experience we had asked for water refills, extra condiments, ect and each time he appeared irritated and in a rush. It was time to pay and we paid on separate checks, my sister in law and I had to let him know three times that our receipts were incorrect. Our waiter blamed the incorrect receipts on us switching our seats...I usually have a wonderful experience at Simons:; food and server/waiter, but this time, not so much.
The attention to coronavirus mitigation was very reassuring. I felt as safe as can be possible when I'm not in isolation at home.
Friends birthday- it was lovely!! Great food/service!
Great view, good food, a little spendy but maybe that is what makes it feel special. We always get good service as well.
The food was good, although limited side dishes options. The staff made us feel OK, although they are not the friendliest I have met. I could dine here again.
Our experience was wonderful!
Our favorite place in Anchorage for a nice dinner with a fantastic view.
Due to Covid, the menu was greatly reduced. Not a lot of choices compared to normal. Other than that no complaints
The host has very poor energy. Seem as she was mad at us for waiting. Overall Simons is a great place to meet up with family or friends!
Scallops were awesome
Requested scenic or window view and was not offered one requested it they said first come first serve.
No actual lunch menu provided. Server said she had it in her head. Food service seemed long, considering there were so few customers.
Simon and Seafort's did wonderfully during the pandemic. Everything was spaced out and the food was wonderful!
Amazing food and cocktails! Our favorite go to place! Always consistent. Thank you!
We are huge simons fans. The food can not be beat. We are regulars but during our visit on Friday we were dining in the bar and patrons were not wearing masks when they were up walking around and nothing was said to them. I was there with a 5 year old who knows that once we are vertical we put on a mask. The fact that nothing was said to the multiple tables of patrons who got up and walked maskless in front of my daughter and me will keep us from eating there again due to safety. We love their food so much but safety is more important to me right now.
First time out in months, safe and comfortable experience with great service.
Pretty poor impression overall. We were seated 30 min after our reservation so we missed the sunset views. Mask policy in the waiting area was not enforced. There was a maskless couple waiting next to us. The decor is dated and worn. Chipped table tops, worn chairs. Food was below our expectations for a fine dining establishment. They should take this COVID closure opportunity and revamp the entire establishment, the decor and the menu. I would not recommend any of my friends to go there.
Great way to celebrate my husband’s birthday
Once again a PERFECT medium rare fillet mignon. Wonderful mashed potatoes, and my friend had a chicken dish he loved also. Key Lime pie for dessert, couple of drinks. Overall, they are spendy!! You decide if it's "worth" it. It Was for us.
Menu is limited at this time. Can't wait for the pandemic to end. I may not return for a while due to limited menu options.
The food and service was outstanding. Abosultly gorgeous sunset for our special occasion. However, the room decor is a bit worn and aged. Definitely needs to be remodeled. But, again wonderful food and service.
Excellent service by everyone.
This place has really gone down hill. The food menu is all fried foods...horrible service. The place had dead flies all over and floor was a mess. Won't spend my money there again.
The view was amazing. The food was really good. The waitstaff was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We went for our 3rd anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier.
Well we checked in at 5:50 for a 6pm reservation, sat down by 6. Long story short it seemed we waited longer to speak to the waiter than anything else. It was a 2 hour and 10min meal. Appetizer, we had to ask twice for. Dinner was good. Just took awhile for the waiter / service for each order.
The cream burlee was cold, and most places I’ve eaten at has been sugar warm on top.
Had my hopes set for a delicious meal. Started out good with a margarita and calamari appetizer, then we had the yummy complimentary bread. However the meal was a disappointment. I ordered the halibut cheek special and the fish just seemed over crusted and some pieces were just too dry for my liking. The asparagus was so-so (I could have made better at home) and the potatoes were over seasoned. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and it was just underwhelming ☹️ sadly I wish we had stayed home and made steaks, but was glad to have gotten out for the dining experience we have all been missing.
Overall, the service was slow and the food was mediocre. The appetizer came out luke warm. The dinner entrees were very dry and over cooked.
Our service wasn’t very good, Renee didn’t appear to be put together we ordered a second drink & waited about 30 minutes & Renee came back to the table & asked if we needed anything & we say for our drinks & she said Oh I didn’t know you wanted another one? Then the bill came & we were over charged!
Service was good up to the point when a new server approached the table and said she was now our server. Why does it become my problem when the establishment decides to change servers? My gratuity reflects the service I receive. How am I supposed to reward a server who has not finished his job?
As always excellent food and best-in-class service. Simon & Seafort's NEVER fails to satisfy. They are my first choice among all others in Anchorage.
Best food in Anchorage. Halliburton cheeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the food has gone down in quality. The last two times I’ve eaten here I have not enjoyed the food. I ordered a virgin Mojito and it was terrible, bitter. The waiter ended up comping it which was good. But the food was really Soso it wasn’t anything spectacular for the price I would not come here again. I would have to say the best part was the French onion soup was good
Spent 4 hours there discussing business. Perfect atmosphere and fantastic food and service as usual.
Two words... halibut cheeks.
I don’t think there’s any other place on the planet that serves this dish in such an elegant fashion. This dish is an all-time favorite.
The service here is consistently upscale and there isn’t a bad table in the entire restaurant. Beautiful views and exquisite ambience.
Fantastic evening to celebrate our daughter's birthday.
Food was good, prices were higher for the same meals we have eaten there many times.
