I made a reservation at this restaurant and then discovered by fluke on the day of my reservation that the restaurant had closed 4 days prior to the day my party of 8 was to attend 😡😡

Due to bad weather we were about 10 minutes late for our 5:30 reservation. Found the doors locked, lights out and no one in restaurant. A 'For Lease' sign was in the window. Another person also tried the doors. We all left.

My partner and I had booked this restaurant using OpenTable for the night of our anniversary this past Monday. I received email confirmations from OpenTable that they communicated with the restaurant and booked us a table. Although everything appeared to be in order leading up to our special date, when I arrived for my reservation it turned out that the restaurant had been closed down for quite a while and I was now stuck in the freezing wind with my partner dressed tithe nines for our anniversary. A horrible experience and humiliating nontheless. Why would OpenTable lie to me and say they have contacted the restaurant - when clearly no such contact was even able to be made? Thanks for ruining my anniversary.

I made a reservation at Signs for my birthday dinner and I had am impeccable time. The food was great and the staff taught my guests and me some American sign language. Overall we all had a great time.

Quite regularly I would come across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Our group of three thought that the staff that we interacted with were extremely friendly, enthusiastic and very willing to help us navigate communicating with them. It was fun. The food was delicious and competitively priced, and the memory of our visit will last. I would recommend Signs to everyone.

A truly unique experience since the focus is on sign language. Patrons have the opportunity for exposure to this unique language and can learn something new. I loved the peaceful ambience- no competing with background blaring music. Servers were friendly and accommodating. There was some confusion about kitchen closing time as it was different from website. Food was quite good.

Amazing experience. The food was amazing and the service was great we were seated and served are meal within 20 minutes. Waiters were amazing. Over all it was an amazing experience I would definitely go there again

For the theme and ideal it was very interesting, and it is great that they are able to find meaningful work for the unfortunate. Quality of food is decent, but not great considering the price. Presentation was excellent. Taste was ok, nothing exceptional to comment on. Service was great. Servers were very nice. Ordering food with sign language was a very new experience, but in the long run I doubt I would be interested in doing it again. I don't remember much about the decor and atmosphere, I only remember it felt like a place average $20 a person. Overall, this is a rather interesting experience to try. I would recommend to people who would like to try the experience, but don't place high hopes on food and atmosphere. I would not come back again due to value.

Although an interesting concept, not all items on the menu are available in sign language. It was also difficult to see the motion with pictures provided. I think the restaurant should have tablets that show you how to sign a specific item. The menu is creative but I am not sure all the flavour combination work together. I had the blacken mahi-mahi and the sauce was in a cold coconut mango sauce. A little weird for my taste.

It was a unique and wonderful experience to learn how to sign to order and have simple exchanges with our waiter Julien. He was patient and encouraging, so he really made our night. My daughter and her friends had been practicing sign language among themselves, so they were very excited to have a chance to try it out with someone who is fluent. And everyone enjoyed their dinner.

Was celebrating my graduation with a large group and everyone had an amazing time, it was a great experience for everyone. The service was absolutely amazing, I really hope they expand to give more opportunities to those who are hearing impaired.

I enjoyed the service which was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food and it was tastey. The only thing was the gray colour of the restaurant. Maybe it could be a brighter colour or some décor added. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant.

It was a great family get-together. Everyone tried signing, even our little ones. The food was outstanding. The staff were friendly and patient. We all left smiling and full of comments regarding our experience. We will definitely go again!

We went to Signs because of its proximity to the Panasonic theatre and the novel concept of the restaurant. We were greeted warmly and introduced to our server. We were immediately taught some useful ASL signing and given our menus. The menus show the appropriate signing for the available items, and there is also a flip file on the table that contains most of the signing you might need for your dining experience. Signing is somewhat intuitive and fun. It's nice to be able to express yourself in a non-verbal way, and this would be a great skill to learn well. The food is excellent. Good portion sizes, flavourful, nicely presented. The menu is somewhat limited, but that makes sense because the servers will be able to guess what it is you're trying to sign if you're struggling. It's a little on the pricey side, perhaps, but not outrageous. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Signs and we will definitely be back to try again!

Dining at this restaurant is definitely a memorable experience. Our server was excellent and he assisted us several times with our sign language. Food was delicious. Great portions and flavorful. Would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Of course the wait staff stood out because they are all deaf but on top of that the food was straight up amazing best steak I have ever had. Cooked perfectly the first time and the staff was very patience with me and my attempts at signing
