   Sicilian Pasta Kitchen has always been one of my Mom’s favourite restaurants, so it seemed like a no brainer to book a table here for Mother’s Day. This will probably be the last time we dine here for a while. After we were seated, it took about 20 minutes for our server to come and take our drink order. It had been long enough that we had decided on our meals, so we ordered everything at once. As I said, it was Mother’s Day and extremely busy, so we weren’t worried about a bit of a wait to place our order. Our appetizer came in a reasonable amount of time and tasted fine. Our meals took an extremely long time to arrive after our apiece was finished. My mother and I both ordered the Mushroom and Tartufo Ravioli. My mother’s was extremely bland and oily, mine was (no exaggeration) ravioli floating in a bowl of olive oil. Neither had so much as a hint of truffles. My father ordered a pasta dish that was tasty but absolutely drowning in sauce, and his pasta was way overcooked. Our server got the manager to address the issue, and the manager made excuses as to why the food was as it was, and she made no apologies. My meal was completely inedible, so I ordered a new entree and the manager agreed to take my ravioli off of our bill. I ha d to get my second entree to go because my parents had finished eating by the time I was able to reorder. It took about half an hour to get my new order, and in the meantime, our server did not ask us if we needed more drinks or anything else. Allowances can be made for slower service on such a busy day, but the food was inexcusably bad, and the manager was remiss and dismissive in the way she handled the situation. And we really didn’t appreciate being ignored for the last half hour that we were there. I’m not sure what has happened, but the quality of the Sicilian Pasta Kitchen experience has plummeted since the last time we were there about a year ago. We won’t be returning any time soon.

   Highly recommend Sicilian Kitchen . Portions are huge, always have take home! Service is always great as well. Meals are always delicious so is dessert!

   Food was excellent, server was great and very informative. Was a bit loud due to a full house but overall everything was good. We will return for sure.

   I was disappointed with the OpenTable reservation, when we arrived at the restaurant the reservation did not exist. We were able to get a table at the time that we had originally booked. This was the first time using OpenTable I may have misunderstood the reservation process.

   Always consistently great ! This time was extra great! Drew is an amazing waiter! Came in and out like a ninja filling beverages, and we didn’t need to ask! Professional, friendly and intuitive.

   This was our first time going to this restaurant. To be honest, I was expecting it to be a little bit more upscale, but nonetheless, I was very pleased with our service, and the quality of the food. Our server Nash, was very professional. His timing was spot on and we did not feel like we ver had to wait on anything, but also never felt rushed. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

   Excellent pasta dishes and lots of menu choice. Nice to be served bread along with oil and vinegar to dip into. Very pleasant staff. Good value for the amount of food. My only wish is that you could get 1/2 orders. Way too much food, in particular for women and it never tastes the same the next day.

    We won’t be back. Unfortunately, the last three times we’ve gone here, we’ve been pretty disappointed. Tonight there wasn’t any improvement so we’ll choose another place for the rare time we go out to eat. Food quality is not great; nearing stale bread and broken pasta sauce as examples. Staff doesn’t seem to really care because they aren’t noticing the need of the customer which forces the customer to have to flag down the waitress for basics like a water refill or another napkin. Finally, the ambiance of a quaint Italian restaurant is ruined by club music bumping over the speakers. There’s literally a bar next door for that kind of music. Sad, this used to be our favourite restaurant.
