Shaw's Crab House is Chicagoland's Premier Seafood Restaurant. Reservations made for "Bar" seating will be for our casual Oyster Bar, reservations made for "Standard" seating will be in our more formal Main Dining Room and reservations made for our "Outdoor" will be on our patio.
All reservations are limited to 2 hours of dining.
Shaw's Crab House offers a unique dining experience focusing on seasonal fresh seafood, made to order sushi and our signature Alaskan King Crab Legs. Our reputation relies on quality ingredients prepared in a straight forward style, with crisp, professional service.

    We usually eat in the bar which is kind of fun, a different vibe altogether. But the dining room was nice, hadn't been in there in a while. Our server was outstanding and sides and salad also very good. Our walleye was overcooked, fish and chips average at best, and the au gratin potatoes which they're really famous for were almost raw and almost cold at the same time. Nonetheless we had a good time with good friends. Maybe just an off night.

    Shaws is our go to place for our anniversary. We’ve never had a bad experience. This time the service and food were great but found out they add a 3% service fee to the bill. Never understand this. Just include all costs in your pricing. Disappointed a fine venue like Shaws can’t figure a better approach.

    We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped by Shaw's Crab House in Schaumburg for an early dinner before the movie. I ordered the seafood salad, which was fresh, well-balanced, and packed with flavor — a great choice if you're looking for something satisfying but not too heavy. Paired it with a classic gin & tonic, and it was spot-on: crisp, refreshing, and well-mixed. The atmosphere was relaxed yet upscale, with attentive service that didn’t feel overbearing—a solid spot if you’re craving seafood and a good cocktail in the suburbs. I’ll be back to try more of the menu.

    Higher end pricing but food did not disappoint. I have a food allergy and was able to successfully have the Walleye minus the sauce. Recommendation from the staff, as to freshness was spot on.

    Server was remarkable. Food was delicious. Lobster was a bit small for the price and in the future I would appreciate the booths being better cleaned. There was dust everywhere.

    Went to Shaw’s for their Spring Shrimp specials. Enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. Server was very good, took drink orders promptly and kept checking in through taking dinner order and checking in often. Enjoy the atmosphere of the bar seating.

    I am a huge fan of lettuce entertain you restaurants, and I was very excited that they had a location out in Schaumburg. The restaurant is beautiful service was mostly great although they forgot a few things and I felt like we were being rushed. I ordered the king crab legs at $150 Had to pay extra for a side dish and the crab was incredibly salty and there’s no way it was a pound and a quarter. My girlfriend steak was ordered medium came out medium well and as the night went on, things got better, but certainly not worth the amount of money that they’re charging Still a huge fan of lettuce would just rather be in the city and pay those city prices
