Great seating. I felt like the restaurant could be picked up and dropped in San Francisco pier 39 and it would fit right in. Loved the dining room. The food was really good. I recommend the oysters and the lobster. Cost.. over 200 for two people. We did get o e drink each. So I thought it was a little pricey, but not too bad. I would go again.

Took my wife there for her 50th birthday. Indicated it twice on the OT reservation and there was nary a gesture or a mention to make her feel special. Thank goodness that wasn’t my only birthday plan for her, but had it been it would have been a massive failure. There are too many good restaurants with solid customer service to ever go to Shaw’s.

Caylee or Kayle, I don’t wanna butcher her name. But she was the best waitress ever. The food was great, it was my girlfriend and I first date in a while. Definitely coming back!

Shaw’s was busy, however,the noise level was extremely extremely loud which I attempted to answer on the previous page. You couldn’t even hear the person sitting across from you. The menu was extensive with a wide selection of entrees. I ordered 2 petite filet steaks which I found disappointing. They were not what I expected.

The service overall has gone downhill. I’ve dined here many times in the past and the food was good as well as the customer service. But this particular evening was enough for me to be done. On Friday 9/9/23. I ordered the seafood linguine which has lobster, jumbo shrimp, & mussels. I opted to omit the mussels. When I got my meal, I received regular size shrimp that were balled up like fists and a tough piece of lobster tail—the seafood was very over cooked and they falsely advertised “jumbo shrimp” as being in the meal. The garlic cream sauce had no flavor at all, and salt didn’t even help. I was starving but as much as I tried to eat the meal, I could not. Our server walked by our table about 10 times, intentionally avoiding eye contact but made sure to check in on the tables around us many times. I sat there for 30 mins with meal untouched and no acknowledgement until I was finally able to flag him down. I told him my meal was over cooked and inedible and he asked if I wanted them to remake it, but I declined as I was quite turned off that I was sitting there all that time with no acknowledgement, as well as the person in the kitchen thinking it was ok to throw something like that on a plate. After I decline the remade meal, the waiter asked me 5x if I wanted to box up the meal. And each time I said no as why would I take something home that’s inedible?? Eventually he came back with the check and took the meal off. But that service left a bad taste in my mouth. In all my experiences, I’d at least talk to a manager and get an apology. But nothing happened. It was at that point, I knew that this would be my last time returning. And it’s sad, because I really loved their key lime pie. Customer service goes a long way.

We had the halibut and lobster tails with a side of au gratin potatoes and a chopped salad. Food was excellent. Waiter was extremely familiar with the menu and his suggestions hit various price ranges, which I always appreciate.

My husband says his Maryland crab cakes were the best he has ever had in his 82 years and, believe me, he has eaten a LOT of crab cakes. I shared the cold appetizer platter with our other couple. Just fabulous. I also got the Norwegian crab legs. First time ever and would get in a heartbeat again.

Lobster Week! So delicious. Shaw’s prepares each dish when ordered, so this grew-up-in-CT person could order her lobster roll with just melted butter, not celery as mayo as the menu indicated. It was perfection. My grandsons had two varieties of lobster sushi and raves about them. The seafood gumbo was the best we’ve ever enjoyed. Now I have to figure how to make it for thanksgiving. The chocolate cake was sublime.

Food and service where good. However I was served an entrée with mushrooms after I specified I was allergic to mushrooms. They fixed it and brought a fresh dish however if I wasn't paying close attention I would have been very sick or perhaps could have been hospitalized. Restaurant must pay better attention to details!

We celebrated out 48th wedding anniversary and everything at Shaw's was top notch! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were just superb. Our waiter surprised us with a special piece of chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary.
