   Great service and food. Oysters were tasty and the ability to customize surf and turf was fantastic. A few more wine by the glass options would be good but those we had were good. Birthday dessert was very well done. Thank you Shaws!

   Celebrating our anniversary at Shaw’s was very special. The drinks, mussels appetizer , salad, and our dinner choices were nicely prepared. The waiter was knowledgeable and never rushed us. He told us that the chef could customize a meal to our liking. My husband made a substitution to his linguine dish. My fillet was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. We really enjoyed the chocolate cake presented to us in honor of our anniversary, too. We will surely enjoy dinner there again!

   I never been here before and I wanted to try something different so I made reservations for my birthday dinner. Right away the service was not great and I ordered a steak medium well and I cut the steak open it was clearly medium I sent it back. The manager approaches saying sorry made me a whole new steak and lobster but when I cut into my second steak it was bloody red. At least this point I had no choice to eat it because my I had kids in my party and if you know anything about kids you have a small window. The lobster had no flavor and was under done. When I received my second steak the waiter comes over and asks how’s the steak. I didn’t even cut it open and he walks away. If it wasn’t for the manager making appearance the first time I would have given this place a 1 star rating. Very disappointed because this place is expensive and it was a treat for my bday and I don’t think the quality lived up to the prices. Next time I would go somewhere else.

   Thank you for the wonderful Easter dinner you cooked for my family. Our waiter was terrific (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name). The food was delicious and my husband loved the Easter ham dinner for the special.

   We had a reservation for the oyster bar area which is where we wanted to sit. Upon checking in the hosts tried to seat us in the dining room. We told them our reservation was for the oyster bar side. Despite showing the hosts the email confirmation saying we had bar seating reserved they did not honor our reservation and told us it was full in the oyster bar and that the restaurant switched our reservation to the dining room. I received no notification of, and did not approve of, our reservation being switched to the dining room. We made the reservation for the oyster bar for a reason and then had to eat our meal in an ambiance we did not want. Extremely disappointing for a very expensive special occasion meal. Being that Shaw’s is a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant and has a high priced menu I expect better. Also some prices are not right on the Open Table menu and are higher on the menu. In addition, some items listed on the Open Table menu are not actually available at the restaurant.

   Had a wonderful time….wasn’t rushed at all and it was Easter! Great food

   The food was delicious and served in an orderly manner. We definitely needed a bigger table for the 4 of us though.

   The Fisherman's platter (Friday special) was excellent! A couple of large shrimp, some calamari, and cod along with the fries. My wife's Halibut was very good but more fish for the $$ would have been nice. Our drinks (Blackberry Smash and Kalua) were prepared well. My ice cream birthday desert was great.
