Food is good but heavily overpriced. The “under $30” label on open table is deceiving. This should be above $50 instead unless you want to walk out hungry.
Food fantastic atmosphere awesome. Service terrific. Highly recommend.
Shabu is great! A must for Park City dining. The ribs and togarashi fries, hamachi collar, and daily teradito special are persona favs! You won't leave hungry or disapointed.
Food and service excellent as usual.
The staff where friendly when we arrived, we had 1 person with bad nut allergies who couldn't come but the staff under when we told them. Noise/Music was to loud for us but I guess younger people like that. Service was quick and helpful. Food was good, the fried rice was not to our tastes but ok. The 4 rolls we ordered were good but I had high hopes they would be amazing after reading their descriptions. Nice night out with our 2 kids but definitely expensive.
Greatest Restaurant in Park City - Food Perfect - Service Perfect - Kevin and his team do a great job, we had a party of 14 and everything was great. Thanks
First time here. It was excellent. I always like to get lamb when I see it on menu & the lamb lollipops didn’t disappoint. Great flavor. A little noisy for us. Hard to talk to one another. Reminded us of a happening restaurant in Chicago or NY. Service was great. We will
I've been wanting to try Shabu for the longest time and finally was able to get a reservation on Saturday evening. It was fantastic. The vibe is energetic and festive. The menu selection is wonderful with a good range of Japanese favorites. The miso glaze cod was amazing! Service was outstanding.
Hot stone is always to die for!
I love the friendly staff, energetic environment and the food is the best. Worth every penny!
Great Team of Amazing People!
Amazing food. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. I can't wait to go again
Great location…and that’s where it stops. The tables were far too close to each other and it is poorly ventilated. The table next to us ordered the Hot Rock and the smoke was unbearable.
Five stars for food but zero stars for music volume. We ate here for the first time as part of the Dine About promotion. The music was booming as we opened the door. We could hardly hear each other or the staff. Tables are situated inches apart. Because the music was so loud, everyone had to raise their voice to hear each other so we were privy to every conversation next to us. The saving grace of this experience was the food and the service. Every dish was wonderful, especially the caramelized black cod. The couple sitting next to us had the Hot Rock meat cooking experience. Unfortunately, my tablemate had to endure the smoke and smell of the cooking that blew directly in his face. I could hardly see him after a bit. We loved the food but it's just not worth having to shout at each other and be a part of someone else's dining experience and conversation.
Great food , if maybe too much salt - drank a gallon of water overnight . Great decor but way too noisy and the smoke from the hot rocks was so over powering ,made our eyes water and we all came out smelling of smoke . Service good .
We love Shabu! Dynamite shrimp is a must!! Great service. We come here for most celebrations!
We loved the food- the two of us tried the Shishito peppers and green beans, hamachi with jalapeños, kimoto roll and the special wagyu beef dumplings. Everything was delicious, our waitress was super nice and helpful. Music was fun in the bar but a little loud for talking.
We had the Japanese wagyu that you cook yourself on a hot rock. It was incredible. We also got a sushi roll and it was the best I've ever had.
Excellent dinner at Shabu! It was a busy night, we sat at the bar and it was great. Brian & Jamison took great care of us and the food as always was top notch.
On the open table description for this restaurant it mentions Covid-19 measures in place. Please note that none of these measures appeared to be in place- the restaurant was packed full (nowhere close to appropriate social distancing) and no one (including employees) was wearing a mask.
The food was mediocre. While Utah isn’t known for sushi, I’ve had better sushi at several places around the Salt Lake area. The sushi here was not worth $20+ per roll. We had three rolls, an appetizer, and one adult beverage and the total was $117. If the food was knock your socks off good, I wouldn’t bat an eye at the price. For mediocre food, it was overpriced. Mediocre food and lack of Covid measures aside, our server was very nice. That said, we won’t be going back here, especially while Covid cases are still high and no safety measures appeared to be in place.
Reviews prepared us for this place to be quirky, but the food was mediocre. We had a couple good rolls, but then our last "order" for two basic rolls, took almost 30 minutes to serve, and they seemed like an afterthought, with minimal seafood. And this was an $18 Rainbow roll! Our ultimate opinion was over priced with mixed opinion on the food. If it wowed us, price would have been justified but just not there.
Fantastic service and food
Basement restaurant with loud sound system. Good Asian Fusion dishes at premium prices and Sushi at regular prices. A contemporary Mad Max decor but why? Bar with sports TV at end of restaurant, again why,
Shabu staff was great as always, and the food was outstanding! Must haves are the firecracker shrimp and the HOT ROCK! Chef Bob has really created something special
Chelsea is the best server ever. We had a great time as always!
Server was fantastic very good sake recommendation food was exquisite sushi better than I remember from my last visit. At first we were seated in a corner a few feet away from another couple which was awkward but luckily we were able to get a little more space after asking.
Great food & service!
Outsatanding! Service was great, everything she suggested was awesome! Loved the black cod!
Girls weekend. Nice surprise to have such good Sushi in a mountain town.
Great service and food as always. One of our favorite spots to frequent.
Loved this place! So cute! Fun & trendy environment!
Huli was the best!!!!!!
Excellent food, service and amazing views! We sat outside on the deck! Make reservations!
Love this place. Been going there for 17 years amd the gang is still the best in park city
This restaurant was a total disappointment. The sushi rolls were not up to par with sushi rolls from other restaurants. We dined earlier (6:15 pm) and the food took for ever to arrive. The hostess was nice and that was the only positive. The address of the restaurant shows up as being on Main Street, however, when we got to the location we had to come in through the kitchen since the front of the restaurant was on the back street.
It’s a tradition…been going here for years every time we are in town. Never disappoints. Amazing food, fun energy.
We thought the food was excellent and really enjoyed some interesting cocktails. Our server, Huli, was really fun and very helpful. We appreciated the great service by all and highly recommend it!
