The service, food, and ambiance of Serafina East Hampton was perfect. We are Serafina fans and whether in Puerto Rico or NYC, when you dine at a Serafina Restaurant you feel like you are in Italy. Highly recommended.
We dined at Serafina on Christmas- the food was good. Felt rushed by our server .
Our waiter very nice, very enthusiastic. We dined at 8 pm on Christmas Eve and the restaurant was not crowded, but he noise level was incredibly high! They need to put noise deadening panels on the ceiling. It felt like the adjacent patrons were yelling in our ears.
Overall the food was good, the shaved Brussels sprout salad was a real taste treat. The salad that accompanied the entre looked good, but was inexplicably bad. The chicken Parmesan special was good, but surprisingly high-priced. We assumed that being chicken it would be priced close to the price to the other chicken dishes on the menu, but was almost $10 more than any other chicken dish on the menu.
If one is careful about what you order this can be a reasonably priced option in East Hampton for dinner.
The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was very Hamptons casual chic.
This is a great place to go for a good Italian meal.
Very good overall
We were seated in the outside space... which was heated and quite as we were the only ones sitting there initially. The food was absolutely amazing... there was a fish I was interested in but not on the menu and they were able to accommodate me immediately. The best part was the dessert... we had the best Tiramisu I have ever had ❤️
Our waiter was unpleasant. Would not acquiesce to any special requests. And, instead of saying, "No, I'm sorry we cannot do that," or "I'm so sorry, the chef does not take special requests," he just said, "No." That is just not good service. Though the food was good, I would not visit the restaurant again.
Typical Italian food offerings. Food is good. Pasta and marinara sauce very tasty. Called to make reservations on Tuesday & Wednesday - no call back - restaurant closed those days. Booked on Open Table and all was good.
great food and service.. always a consistently exceptional dining experience
Every aspect was enjoyable...good food...good time...good friends
Love the feel of this place!! The waitstaff and front desk are so accommodating.
I have dined at Serafina numerous times and usually order the spaghetti squash, as I choose to eat a vegan entree. This time is seemed less tasty than on visits in the past...I'm not able to say why, but perhaps the sauce left something to be desired. The salad however, was excellent, an excellent mix of lettuce, tomato, avocado, corn, but the bread was dry, not warmed, and basically tasteless.
Always reliable and fresh.
Waiter was not attentive. No one asked about our special occasion we entered when we made the reservation. Food looked great but my steak was cold.
Perfect Hamptons evening, high energy. Our waiter Vinny was great. The food was just fine. Lots of positive energy from the staff , attentive, friendly.
My friends and I had a great meal at Serafina East Hampton. The restaurant boasts a lively atmosphere with a friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent, especially the linguini with clam sauce. Will be back!
Pizza’s were excellent, including the robiola calzone, however my wife’s vegetarian pasta was really awful, the vegetables were completely uncooked. One of the worst meals I’ve ever seen at an Italian restaurant.
Great service, Tamara, who had served us before was again super and recommended the porcini ravioli (after we asked for a reco) which was delicious and we had the shrimp, avocado salad, one of our favorites and a margarita pizza, always a staple here.
Great drinks and not too loud, we didn't feel rushed, which often happens in the Hamptons in the summer and look forward to returning soon.
Fabulous food and great location. Typical prices for the area.
Poor food,!decided to try again after a previous poor experience, and was disappointed again.
The food was good but the service was terrible. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. We had to ask for our drinks and bread for the table. He never came back to see if everything was good. We had to ask other waiters for help.
While the atmosphere was positive, the food wasn’t. Our dishes lacked creativity and were bland. Nothing more to say.
So so so so so loud. SO LOUD. Great if you have loud kids.
Good spot to go with kids, great with last minute reservations.
One of our favorite spots, always a warm welcome with consistently delicious food and fabulous service.
We sat inside with an early seating so it was still quiet. The food was very good the pasta is home made but while no one else at the table had issues with the serving size my dish had only seven mini raviolis and that's it! For the Hampton's the price was pretty reasonable. Service was very quick and very attentive. As a side note, I could see a lot of people had ordered takeout from here but the kitchen was not bogged down.
Always a great meal and terrific service.
Food was cold
Waited 45-50 min for my res, hostess too young and naive seated walk ins before people with reservation, older manager yelling at patrons for being angry for seating walk ins and making us with reservations wait 45 min for our table. Waitstaff was excellent and food good and reliable but we are not in italy so good for American Italian. Experience would be best off season and or weekdays. To be fair weekends in the Hamptons across the board is horrible at every restaurant in August, unless you slip in cash to manager
I get it...it’s summer in the hamptons. That doesn’t mean you should quadruple book tables to accommodate the crowds. We had a reservation for 7:45 and waited one hour for our table—of course, we, like everyone else, was told “your table is almost ready. The guests are leaving soon. It should be about ten minutes.” PS—the “guests” at the table hadn’t even been served dinner yet and this “excuse” was given to everyone who had a reservation for dinner. Fast forward an hour when we finally sat for dinner and there was a rowdy group of millennials dropping the f-word (extremely loud) in every sentence they shouted. The tables with families around us were furious. The food was not even edible! Basic spaghetti pomodoro tasted like something from the Dead Sea! They rushed to serve the food that they must have thrown the pasta into an overly salted pot of water. The ravioli was undercooked and disgusting. In the end, the wine cost more than the meal, the management is poor and I would have been happier going elsewhere. Lesson learned.
Excellent food and service. Nice to be able to make a reservation in peak season in East Hampton. Was great for kids and family.
Food is good and consistent. Service is slow. You might as well sit outside seems like they don’t like to keep the ac on.
We had a party of eight for a early Saturday family dinner, We had ordered eight entrees including three entree pizzas.
Five of the entrees came out promptly, but the pizza oven was backed up with orders, and three of us waited almost 40 minutes for the pizzas to be eventually served. By that time, everyone else was finished with dinner while those three were just starting theirs.
To their benefit, Serafina did take the pizzas off our check, but the entire dining experience was very sub par.
once again, food was good, service was good but still, my biggest complaint is that they give you a TINY glass of iced tea/soda and it is $4.75 (?!?!) and they don’t give refills!!! ridiculous. from now on, i will get tap water.
So good delicious evwrytime!!!!
Relaxed in door and outdoor dining. Friendly. Off of 27, so more relaxed and parking easier. Good place for kids. Good for pizza. Good prices. Wine by the glass was disappointing taste. Good good but not great.
