If you are traveling by BART, exit at Embarcadero Station. Walk up Drumm St. past the Hyatt Regency and turn right to enter the street level of Embarcadero Center 4. Take escalator up two flights to the Promenade Level. Sens entrance is located on your left a few yards down the walkway .

First table was unacceptably loud, and the restaurant was kind enough to relocate us but not before three of our group departed. Then they took our order and we waited over an hour for our doody. By the time we received our meal the restaurant was closing and they practically seized our dishes as the last fork was being raised. Then they informed us it was too late to order dessert. BAD

I live nearby and yet had never been here. That's changed. I'll be a regular from here on out! My friend and I shared some small plates which were all delicious. I especially loved the fatoosh salad and the roasted cauliflower. We also had a great bottle of wine. The service was friendly and quite attentive without being overbearing. Great ambiance here too.

We really enjoyed our choices of Lamb Sliders, Moroccan Taquitos, Roasted Cauliflower and Chicory Salad. Flavors were on point, the service was prompt, attentive and accomodating from all aspects of the service staff, which has been seemingly hard to find recently when dining. We will be back! Moises was our server and he provided excellent service. He was very accommodating to our party with all our needs. He made great suggestions and was friendly and pleasant. We ordered a few apps to share and had the paella. All very delicious. I have been coming here for a decade now and this place can be hit and miss. This time it was definitely it was a hit!! Will definitely come back!

Visiting San Fran for the first time and this was my first stop for food. I was greeted with smiles and felt very welcomed the moment I walked in. The server Elias was just amazing all throughout. He gave great suggestions and really made the dining experience 10/10. Food was yummy and the ambiance was great as well. I will definitely be back.

Food was amazing. Also good cocktail with great recommendations from our server along the way from drinks to dessert. The only oppty was just slow service. We weren't in a hurry so not a huge deal for us but dinner was almost three hours. I will say though that we never asked for faster as we could see they were busy and as mentioned, we weren't in a hurry.

The service and the food were outstanding. We came on a Tuesday evening, very busy at the 6:00pm hour and the noise level was very high so much so it was difficult to hear companions at our 6 person table if they were not right next to you. This problem eased as the evening went on. We would go again, and inquiry about tables in corners or book at less busy times.

Great food and beautiful spot for lunch, happy hour and dinner. Nice staff and servers. Our table was ready right away. Elias, our server, was friendly, attentive and helpful with menu and wine selection. Enjoyed the Mediterranean flavors. Grilled chicken, lamb burger were delicious and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Excellent desserts as well, the chocolate brioche bread pudding and the pot de creme were a wonderful finish to a great meal. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

It was very loud but great environment. The $40 fish was over cooked and the $11 pot de creme was soupy. It was a packed restaurant with a lot of outdoor seating in a gorgeous space. The service was fantastic.

It's a shame to see how far this restaurant has fallen. I've gone 4 or 5 times in the last couple of years and won't go back. I know inflation is a problem for all of us but the way they have jacked prices and reduced sizes was ridiculous. I was still hungry after a a couple of appetizers and a fish entree. The $17 martini was basically half size

San Francisco goes to bed early, but it was still a little disappointing that Sens shut down promptly at 10pm on a Friday night. The overall ambiance and food was quite good — and the cocktail program was very good. I would've liked to stay a bit longer is ultimately what I'm saying — so if happen to find yourself in sleepy FiDi on a Friday evening, you could definitely do worse than grab a meal and drink at Sens!
