Lovely restaurant, , modern relaxing decor and Sarah our server was fantastic, giving good advice as we wanted raw fish dishes in true Japanese style. we started with lobster buns, then went on to a fresh and delicious three fish ( Tuna Salmon and yellowfin) Sashimi. We ended our meal with two of their spicy Tuna rolls , both very nice. My only wish was there was more genuine Fresh fish sushi as there was quite a lot of shrimp, beef and cooked fish, to cater I imagine for American tastes

The food was great as was the server John. My only suggestion is to re-train the hostess staff to actually look up and greet the guests as they arrive. We were the first ones there at 5:00pm and none of the 3 young ladies at the desk even looked up or made eye contact or said “welcome” or “hello, may we help you”. It was super odd and unprofessional. As they say, first impressions are everything and this is not the warm welcome your guests should be receiving!

We dine here all the time, but this time the 2 hostesses (one looked to be in training) sat us at a table in the bar (half booth, half chair) but I don't think anyone was working this section. We waiting about 10 mins before moving ourselves to the bar. The 2 bartenders were fast and made good drinks. We told them on the way out that they seated us in an area that didn't have a server and she assured me it should have. No clue, not their usual. The bartenders saved the night.
