Nellie, our waitress was excellent. Attentive, thoughtful and considerate.
Disappointed with ambience, service & food. We expected a similar experience as in 333 Pacific, Oceanside, which is 5 Stars!
The view was amazing. Being outside and by the water it got windy and chilly but staff was accommodating with heaters if needed. Our server was VERY nice however wasn’t very attentive. I take into consideration it was the first day of the Covid restrictions being lifted so maybe they were busier than they’ve been the past year also seemed like she was manning a large part of the patio. More staff needed? But it was a bit frustrating that I had to wait about 45 minutes to order a glass of wine. We were there for over 2 hours and would have been there longer if I hadn’t brought cash to pay and go. Aside from that food was AMAZING. We got calamari, ceviche, scallops, and chicken. All so good! Food and view would bring me back.
Awesome view. Great food. Good service.
The view, the service, the food everything was great!
Our server Nelly was absolutely amazing! The food was delightful, the view was beautiful and we look forward to our next visit.
Beautiful view! Excellent food and service.
The food, service and most of all the view was amazing! Love this restaurant!
We visited on a Saturday evening for date night. We there at about 5:30 and had a great view of the beach. I love Cohn restaurants! We decided to go with lots of appetizers, drinks and split an entree. The food was pretty good but nothing to write home about, and the avocado in our rib eye salad had brown spots, and the meat was chewy… I don’t mind paying $17 for an upscale salad but I expect the produce to be impeccable.
Drinks about $10-13 per with not a lot of booze. Our server was attentive and super nice. Our bill was $200 with tip which is on the upper end of our dining budget.
The place feels a little run down, however I understand how maintenance on the salty coast is difficult, but the bathroom had that sewery smell. Overall if I’m gonna drop $200 on early dinner I’ll probably choose somewhere else. With some moderate tweaks this place could be worth the money.
Shout out to Shanna, she was my server! She provided the highest of customer service. Thank you very much!
The food was ok for the price. The patio view was great but the patio was messy. The bathroom could be cleaner. The service was great!
Our server Nelly was very helpful and friendly. She attended to our needs very diligently and made sure we had everything we needed for our meals. The view of the ocean is fantastic and the food was plentiful. Pricey but good.
Great service and an unbeatable view. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the tasty Buddha Bowl on the menu, though it wasn’t terribly unique.
I made an advance reservation to for 4 people on a Thursday at 7pm to sit outside. We were seated immediately but our drink order wasn’t taken for 30 minutes after being seated. We asked if we could move to a table with a better view as our table was furthest from the beach, but our server forgot about us and we saw three separate parties be seated in better tables while we waited.
We finally received our cocktails at our mediocre table at 7:45. After being forgotten and server being neglectful, we paid for our drinks and left. We had been seated for 45 minutes and nobody had even taken our food order. We went to a lovely restaurant down the block and enjoyed our evening, but unfortunately did not enjoy our time at SEA180.
Our waitress got all our drinks wrong and brought them out 25 min after we ordered them, and that was after she showed up 15 min after we were seated. Ordered a second round of drinks that showed up after we finished eating- and those were also made incorrectly.
Celebrated our sons graduation. Great service from all the staff and management. Delicious food. Fun time had by all.
Great view and food!! I definetly recommend going for dinner to see the sunset!
This was our first time at SEA180 and it could not have been better. We made lunch reservations to celebrate a birthday. Our table was perfect - the best seat in the house with beautiful views of the ocean. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers on to the main courses were delicious! My dad is still going on that the fish & chips were awesome!! This is definitely a hidden gem in San Diego County!
It a nice relaxing atmosphere, great service and delicious food and drinks.
Undercooked bacon shrimp … gross
I went to celebrate my moms birthday with the girls. We had the BEST hostess (Cassondra) she was so helpful with the food, drinks, and service. At the end of the lunch we were full, tipsy, and full of laughter. Thank you Sea180 Coastal Tavern for a great experience. Will be coming back for happy hour.
Great food and service. Felt very safe and clean!
This was a wonderful place right on the beach to have a meal!
We had a beautiful time. The view is everything and the ambiance is great. Was looking forward to a white sangria but got an orange one instead. Still good though!
Great first time experience
Would definitely go back
Really great atmosphere for outside dining on the beach.
The lunch and dinner menu are similar. Food variety is limited.
Fantastic. People , food, service, location. They were dynamite
Wonderful lunch and incredible service!
The service was okay. We got sat inside first when we asked to be outside in the reservation. Also, the sweet potatoes were not served as fries as asked. Bi think it was a regular sweet potato cubed. My eggs Benedict was very good except the ham was a bit tough on the edges. Coffee didn’t taste very fresh. We came for the view and safety of eating outside.
It’s an overpriced hotel restaurant. It needs an upgrade. The food was good but very expensive. The waiter brought our bread (which was NOT included) at the end of the meal. He also was incredibly slow & rarely checked on us & the restaurant was not busy. Can’t beat the view! But it seems that is what you’re paying for.
Everyone loved the food they ordered (double cheeseburgers, grilled cheese prime rib sandwich, BLAT, fish & chips, mussels). Our waiter was amazing (I think his name was Amir) - he was attentive, friendly, got all of our orders correctly and everything arrived hot and appetizing! We will be back!
Very delicious food! I got the enchiladas and the mango 180 drink. The enchiladas were amazing! I need the recipe! My mom got clam chowder and a salad. Though both were good, the portions were small and were not filling. The bill ended up being high because of the extra food we had to get to fill up. The ambiance was relaxing and fun. The service was kind and gentle. I would not go again due to the expensive price. I paid more than $80 for two people. Very nice place though. At least I had a good memory of the restaurant.
Lunch menu was very limited. The ceviche was very acidic... Clam chowder was tasty but very very thick. Not sure what the sauce was that came with the calamari but it tasted like store-bought tartar sauce. The really unfortunate part was that we ordered the jalapeño popper prawns but we were told they were out of them even though we were watching somebody at the next table eating them. Later in the meal, we watched another table order and receive those same prawns. Things that make you go “hmm”. Overall I would say if you’re looking for the ambience, go there. If you are looking for good food, make another choice.
Hidden gem! Why more people are flocking here I don't know. Brought my bosses for lunch and was styled out.
Everything was excellent except for the menu which was extremely limited plus they didn't have any lobster items even though it was on the menu.
Excellent service, amazing Puerto Nuevo lobster dinner!!
Super nice view right next to the beach. Foods are good.
Brussel sprouts delicious as usual. Sweet
Potato fries cut like hash browns so not as good as usual. Lovely setting and good service.
