Amazing food and beautiful ocean views! One of the best spots on West Maui for dining and drinks.
Rice was mush with uncooked pieces in it. Steak was tough.
It was our 36th wedding anniversary in July 2020 when most restaurants on Maui were either closed or only offering take out meals. But Sea House was open and gave us a perfect table next to one of the big, open windows at the ocean front. There was a special of two lobster tails ( delicious!) and great sashimi appetizer, called Crudo) and as a special treat Erika, our fantastic, friendly and most efficient server, treated us to a fabulous tiramisu for our dessert, despite some of the scary things going on in the world right now, for that night, with the help of Erika and the great chefs at Sea House, we had a wonderful celebration at sunset! Thank you! A hui hou!
Mahalo from Libby and Jim
Booked reservations online.. when we got there restaurant was closed but online reservation says they were open. Drove all the way there for nothing
The Sea House never fails to please! The restaurant is right on Napili beach with views to enjoy!
Food and service was excellent. The fresh fish with lemongrass sauce dinner was delicious! My husband enjoyed the small prime rib which was more than he could eat. Their French onion soup is the best!
They handle the social distancing and other precautions well. This was a treat especially during these trying times.
Reserved an outdoor table. When we checked in we were told they didn’t reserve outdoor tables and they were first come first serve. Food mediocre and service was slow. Drinks were watery.
Great Food, Excellent Service. The outside Oceanside seating is wonderful frequent 2 to 3 times each month!
They do an outstanding job during these upside down times. Glad we have a place on West Maui Igor dine in. There aren’t many.
Very very annoyed that we were called and asked to change our reservations since they were within 30 minutes of closing. We were celebrating a birthday at The Mauian. A five minute walk. We wanted to watch sunset just after 7 before dinner, but shifted back to 7 anyway. Get there and were ushered to a table far, far away from where we could see the sunset we sacrificed for the convenience of the restaurant. To our dismay, not only did we not get a table outside, not get to watch sunset, accommodated the restaurant, but many tables were seated up until 8 o'clock! If you don't want people to make reservations before 730, then don't make them available. We would have totally taken our chances and come at 730 as did many others who were seated and waiting to eat when we left! This really left a bad impression -- everything else was fantastic, but we sure didn't feel like we were a priority, like making a reservation was the wrong idea! We changed it and still got a strange crap table. What's the point of making a reservation?
I really love the monchong dinner entree with risotto. Shina was our fantastic waitress. Nice ambiance. I love their eggs benedict at brunch too.It was cooked perfectly.
as always a lovely breakfast, beautiful view, fantastic service who can ask for more will be back soon
Really nice restaurant. They're doing a great job in these difficult times. They adhered to CDC guidelines without sacrificing anything. Mahalo for a lovely meal!
It's open, it's a good value, and the food is great quality. They are trying to keep us safe in these difficult times and I commend them!
This place is all about the view. Spectacular sunset dining. The service is very good. The drinks are tasty. The food is pretty good but nothing awesome. I felt like the price (45$ entrees and 14$ cocktails) was more of a reflection of the view rather than the recipes or ingredients. The value is in the early bird special (before 6pm).
Three cheers to the brave staff at Sea House. They were opened for smaller numbers of diners than usual during Covid-19, but they were welcoming and very courteous. Diners were admitted if they were wearing masks. The food was very nice...we took the Early Bird Special which included a nice salad with yummy fresh greens and a pineapple salsa ( which was fine for my husband but just a tiny bit too hot for me), a marvelous mahimahi with a delicious sauce over Jasmine rice, and a Tiramisu dessert that was heavenly. Ashley was our gracious server who took care of anything we needed. We had an open window table so the fresh air wafted as we watched the late afternoon sun drift down to the ocean. It was our first night out in four months, so we were Very happy with our experience at Sea House.
Great oceanfront restaurant that I appreciate a huge amount for being among the first to reopen amidst the pandemic. Responsibly safely executed.
An amazing place to dine at any hour! The views are amazing, the team is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! This is a place that will always be on our list of places to visit each time we return to Maui.
Food was outstanding. We arrived early and had a cocktail while waiting for a “window” table. We all ordered fish meals and they were superbly done. Hats off to the chef. Waitress was attentive. During the first half of our dinner the noise level was a bit loud but it quieted as the night progressed.
We have been to Maui three times and have always had our last dinner at the Sea House. We have not been disappointed- even when the sky was overcast preventing a glorious sunset, the view is wonderful.
We look forward to coming to the Sea House each year we come to Hawaii and once again it was excellent. The server made us feel special and even sent us home with an Anniversary Dessert.
Sea House is always a return visit when my wife and I visit the north end of Maui. Most go for the incredible sunsets, we often opt for the second seating since sunsets are available at our condo. This allows for the ever-attentive Staff to regroup and prepare a nice meal for the later evening. Will return again in the future.
Food was very good....we both did the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi. The view is just breathtaking....especially when you see the gazebo restaurant in the distance with great food as well.
ALWAYS THE BEST IN FOOD AND VIEWS. YOU FEEL APPRECIATED WHEN YOU DINE HERE.
Amazing food with a beautiful view. It’s always on our to do list each time we visit Maui.
Great location, ambience and music. The pesto fish (some sort of snapper) was very good. The seafood trio was mediocre....half of a very small lobster tail, small scallop and a nice piece of mahi-mahi. The poky nacho was “okay”....a nicer cut of the ahi would have made it better. It kind of felt like they took themselves a little bit for granted.
I’d Want to try other places before returning, but you can do a lot worse!
The food was incredible! I had the Ahi, with deep fried prawn & grilled asparagus. We added grilled Brussels sprouts & carrots for the table. The view is lovely, open air looking over Napili Bay toward Lanai. They have a good wine list too. Loved the experience. Our table of 5 had a very nice experience.
You can hardly beat the experience of dining at the Sea House if you're looking for a beautiful surrounding on the beach with gorgeous views, great food, great staff, with a casual vibe.
Not a great experience for the price. First time there and won’t be back.
All four we’re celebrating birthdays !! With this virus it’s good to celebrate....LIFE💕
Food for early dinner was very good. One note...the scampi with pasta was mostly pasta!!
My husband’s steak was just OK. Nothing special
The price was with one drink, our own bottle of wine and tip! Was $143.00! Can’t imagine what the cost would be at the regular dinner prices!!!
We’ll rethink coming for meals other than breakfast!!
Felt very Americanized, felt rushed. Food ordered and arrived supper fast. Fathers veggies under cooked and bland
Sat outside. Great night
Fantastic scenery! Early bird special is a good value and food is very good -especially the macadamia nut crusted mahimahi. Service was ok. A smile goes a long way and some wait staff could use a reminder. (Person serving bread).
Overall one of our favorite restaurants on Napili Bay.
The Sea House Restaurant is adjacent the beach in the Napili Kai Beach Resort. It is a convenient place for meals and the food is very good. I have had an opportunity to stay at this resort twice during the past two (2) years and have eaten here probably 20 times, typically for breakfast or lunch.
The food and the view was outstanding. The only negative was the noise level.
Enjoyed our 25th Anniversary with Incredible food and wonderful ocean views.
