Scott's Bar & Grill
Scott's is one of my favorite places. It's so hard to choose my favorite meal, though...it's all good!
Food was delicious, our waitress Brie was very personable and helpful which made our experience that much better we will be back
The food was amazingly yummy. We really liked the Hot crab and artichoke dip. We had excellent service. We would visit Scott's again!
Was disappointed. Four of us ordered steaks. The sirloins were nicely cooked, but the Cowboy ribeyes, which were more expensive, were extremely think and skimpy. Worse, they were very overcooked. When we finally got them recooked, they were over cooked again, but we did not complain again.
I have been going to Scott’s since they opened. Always wonderful!
We had lunch - French onion soup in particular outstanding for my son, as well as his Caesar salad! My three salad sampler was fabulous, one guest ordered the meatloaf and loved it, and our other guest ordered the chop salad and thought it fantastic! We live in Chicago now but Scott's is a long time favorite!
We went to Scott’s for a birthday dinner, as it turns out, we were early and ordered off the Happy Hour menu. The food was excellent and service excellent. We will definitely be returning!
Perfect place for brunch, lunch, or an early dinner. Staff is super friendly and very courteous! We enjoyed the crab and artichoke dip that was to die for. Actual chunks of crab. Their sunset dinner is a steal with 3 courses for $20+ dollars bid you like key lime pie, make sure you visit Scott’s!
Service was great as were the meals. The only complaint I would have is that my food was not hot. Only warm. I had the eggs benidic crab and avocation and it would have been nicer if it was hot
New Year’s Eve dining was fun! Consistently great food and perfect service! Very nice evening! Scotts’s never disappoints.
We had reservations on New Years Eve. We were not told that there would be a special shortened menu. We know their normal menu and were surprised when some of our favorites were not on the temporary New Years menu. I even spent time on their website. They had nothing that said there was a Holiday or New Years Eve special menu. I even called to reduce our reservation from 8 to 6 and no one mentioned this menu change. I really wanted a Sirloin steak, but they only had prime rib or Filet Mignon. The waiter we had seemed like he was either fairly new and flustered, or just can't handle that busy of a night. He was nice, but seemed nervous and a little overwhelmed. We still like Scott's, but we were a little disappointed with our New Years dinner. The food was still great.
Our go to place for celebrations, always great food and fun but noisy atmosphere.
I was not aware the restaurant would have a limited menu because it was New Year’s Eve. We did not particularly like the choices on the limited menu. I ordered halibut cheeks and the fish was overcooked, tough and dry, not moist as it should have been for halibut. I told the server and had the server remove my entree. I did not order anything else after that. The server was very nice about taking it away. I’m surprised and disappointed a chef/cook at Scott’s would serve fish that way. The appetizers were ok nothing to brag about. I will say our server was very good and attentive. He did tell I think an assistant manager and she came over too but I didn’t want to order anything else after that. They did take off the price for the entree but I would have rather eaten a good meal. We were at the restaurant between 5:30-6pm and it wasn’t that crowded yet.
Food and staff were excellent. Very happy!
No complaints nor ideas for improvement . It was very fine
I love Scotts and have friends that I already have brought to enjoy their food. The best French Onion Soup I have ever had. Great salads and very nice staff! Go, enjoy!
On the Christmas day, we had dinner here. Even through we had made a reservation, it took a half hour to be seated ( yes, it was very crowded ). Their service was great. A server brought small sampler for the guests who were waiting to be seated which was thoughtful. We were expecting a special Christmas dinner menu like a 3-course dinner that they offer on a regular menu, but all were a la carte with fewer choices. Foods we had were good. We want to thank them for working hard on the Christmas day.
Excellent service from Wynton on an amazingly busy day.
We came for Christmas and had an exceptional experience. The food is always predictably great, but it was sensational. The surf and turf was a winner, with a tenderloin steak paired with butterflied prawns. The steak had a beautiful mushroom glaze sauce, and it was out of this world. We asked to split the French onion soup and the waiter graciously gave us each our own separate bowl. Everything was pretty much perfect. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and didn't show stress whatsoever. We had a great time, and will be back again soon.
food as usual was excellent - well presented by an effienct an curteous and friendly staff on an extremely BUSY day Thanks
My wife and I celebrated Christmas there yesterday. The food was delicious and the service from Wynton was outstanding. We will ask to be seated at one of his tables when we eat there again.
Seating was a problem as we were next to a door leading to the "party" room. Th waiters were running past our table and banging the door too frequently.
Christmas Eve dinner at the table closest to the kitchen, on the main aisle to the rest of the dining room, was way to busy and noisy for our 3-and-a-half year old grandson. A booth or table away from all that action might have been nice; and a server that was a little more dialed into the situation as the grandson became more and more anxious and could hurry up the delivery of food/dessert/and check so we could get out of there would have been even nicer. Definitely the worst dining experience we've had in a very long time.
DELICIOUS ,as always. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Everything was perfect.
We eat here all of the time as we live close and the food and service is consistently good. It's my favorite place to host our family get together. There is plenty of parking. Your choice of fish, chicken, meat, pasta as well as vegetarian selections. We always try to go during happy hour as they have a nice selection of food tidbits on the menu. Or you can have the three course early bird dinner for $25, which is a bargain as it's enough for two meals which it often is for us. The bartender makes superb drinks and the service in the bar and dining room is terrific.
Went to Scott's on Christmas Eve which is my wife's birthday. We were unexpectedly presented with a small holiday menu. Small meaning maybe 6 entrees, no lunch combinations or entree sized salads. Someone else in our party had seen a food item going out that was not on the holiday menu. Turns out that everything on the regular menu was available but only if you asked. Food and service were very good but the menu issue was a little odd.
We had a great table for two away from all the people noise. Table was bigger than your average two people table
Nothing done for birthday even though we ordered deserts and I asked for it. Why ask if here for a occasion and then not even a candle. Salad extra & choice of potato’s extra.
I've been a customer at Scott's for the past 30 years. It has continued to be on of the only fine dining establishments in our area. The food and service have always been top notch. I hope the change in ownership doesn't close it down!!
I chose Scott's for my work, birthday lunch because I love the place but especially on my birthday because of my free key lime pie!!!!! I look forward to it every year!!!
We had a reservation for a table of 8 (with 1 toddler) and were promptly seated at our reservation time. Our server was nice, but didn't check in with the table very much. While we were waiting for our food- beverage glasses had emptied and sat that way for quite awhile until food came. When the food came, it wasn't very hot at all. The breakfast/fried potatoes that came with my dish were cold and hard (felt old) and the chicken tenders for the toddler seemed a bit burnt while her fries were luke warm and limp.
We may give it another shot since this is the first time we've had this experience before finding another neighborhood spot.
I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE 18 PERCENT GRATUITY ON BILL, WHEN I LOOKED AT THE NEXT DAY, AS I GAVE THE WAITER ANOTHER TIP SO HE GOT A REALLY GOOD CHRISTMAS PRESENT. WILL CHECK THE BILL MORE CAREFULLY NEXT TIME. WE DID HAVE A GOOD TIME... HAPPY NEW YEAR
Brunch at Scott's is fantastic. There's a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from and the setting is relaxed and welcoming. The service is friendly and competent. Scott's bar and grill is always a good choice.
Eat here 2-3 times a month. Great food and service. It looks a little unassuming from the outside. Very spacious inside. Usually have the lunch combo French Onion soup (always good) and turkey sandwich. Salmon special was cooked perfectly, although the portion was smaller than usual. The service was excellent as always. Friendly, on task, and not overbearing. It is fairly quiet and a good place to go if you want to actually have a conversation with your meal.
We love Scott’s! Two of us had the meatloaf. Very flavorful with a delightful little bit of gravy over it. It could have had less filler though. The other person in our party had the sampler salad. What a great idea. It included your famous pea salad, caesar, and the bleu cheese salad. I think I’ll have this next time.
Scott's is our go-to restaurant for a good eating experience.
Our dining experience was nearly perfect! My Traditional turkey dinner was delicious and so was my husband's prime rib dinner. Our server Chris was friendly, fun and gave us great service. For dessert I had the pumpkin pie and my husband had the cobbler. Both were great.
The only negative thing I have to say is that one of the female servers had on heavy perfume and every time she walked by which was often I got a big whiff of it. I'm not a fan of perfume or cologne especially when it's heavy.
We had a lovely experience all in all at Scott's. Very happy.
I like it and will return next time in town...too many mistakes this time too recommend to others.
The prime rib was full of grist and stringy. We sent it back.
One of my guests did not receive her dinner...somehow forgotten, came to the table about 20 mins late.
Several drinks forgotten.
a few more mistakes I can't remember...the general attitude of our service was unconcerned.
Halibut and clams and scallops and onion soup very good.
Greeted warmly on arrival, had a res but sometimes one still has to wait. Not the case at Scott’s. We were seated immediate. Water and an inquiry about other drinks immediately. Server Loretta was wonderful being super knowledgeable about the menu. As we were two ladies she suggested we could easily share a meal if wanted. Rare to have a server make that suggestion but much appreciated!! When asked Loretta offered several menu items. We each took one of her suggestions and ate every morsel!!! My cousins salad looked and tasted great but I loved loved loved my Bolognese! Yes though portion was large I ate it all. I can’t wait to go back.
