In addition to enjoying the regional and international influence present throughout the menu, guests may complement their meals with selections from the wine bar. One of "My" restaurants. Im willing to share, but keep my table open.
Excellent did, untreatable atmosphere.
Probably the best service we have ever had! The food was wonderful and the attentiveness was perfect!
Get the tater tots! So, so good! Also, love the outdoor area, great views of the park and comfy.
Enjoyed the patio and service was great. Food was average.
Wonderful, great service and food....with amazing view of the city!!!
Very good food. Enjoyed outdoor dining. Very good service. Good spot to eat, relax and watch people in the park
Great people watching and tasty food
Fast service. Good food
We sat outside because there was live music at the park. Great menu, loved the scallops
This is a wonderful place to meet during the business day for lunch. The menu is varied and very tasty. The fact that they have complimentary valet parking is a big plus, and the location is terrific - right on the park so you can do some people watching as well.
Lovely....as always. My go to place for lunch with a friend. Can even bring my dog and sit outside!
Best server EVER (wholly apart from being a beautiful redhead). Awesome suggestions, great food, great celebration! Two thumbs way up!
Very great food with farm fresh ingredients combined with great service. We ordered salads and short ribs and the deviled eggs. Everything tasted super fresh and the mashed potatoes were to die for. I would come back here again for sure
My second time there, and as good as I remember. They were out of the item I wanted, which was annoying. With the weekend coming up, would you not have the limited-menu items stocked? But other than that, it was enjoyable. Presentation was great, cocktails smooth, all around good time.
Savor is one of our favorite places to go. We took out-of-town guests and they also loved the place and the food.
I usually love Savor, but the service was slow and the menu wasn’t as appealing as usual.
Service was friendly and attentive but food was very slow coming out, took us over two hours to eat, and the restaurant seemed understaffed. Otherwise, the food was delicious.
We enjoyed the cocktails, and brunch items, especially the chicken fried steak, and lemon ricotta stuffed french toast. My mom had the Salmon Souffle, but said, it was too salty! We will be returning in the near future!
Disappointed with the food and atmosphere. Definitely would not return.
The food was fine; predictable, moderately executed. Orders were correct, though the food took a long, long time to come, though the restaurant wasn't super busy on a Saturday night.
Would’ve been better if the open table menu matched the actual menu. Could’ve saved a lot of disappointment. Server was phenomenal. Highly recommend the calamari and shrimp appetizer. Appears to be a staple. The rest was so so, but we only ate apps.
Food was average for the overall cost of the meal. Great location but the rest just ok.
We came to Savor at about 7;30 on a Friday night and it was moderately busy but emptying out, probably as people headed to events in the nearby Arts District. Lots of seating was available in both dining rooms, on the patio, or at the bar. We were seated at a sort of out of the way table in the passage between the two dining rooms, close to the rest rooms.
We shared a Caesar salad to start: yum! It looks a little spare, especially when spread out into two plates, with the individual romaine leaves fanned out in a circle, lightly covered with parmesan and drizzled with dressing, with warm croutons of fresh fried cornmeal or grits (?). But it was just right and very tasty.
The entree menu is not extensive: shrimp and grits, a salmon dish, scallops, a chicken dish, a veal dish, and a beef dish or two. I had scallops that were sauced and covered with a variety of savories and came with pureed potatoes: it was terrific, no like anything I've ever had anywhere else. My partner had the filet, with scalloped potatoes, which she said was perfect.
We also had a side of stir-fried broccolini which was perfectly done -- though the sauce, with its ginger and red pepper seasoning, tasted identical to a sauce I get at the supermarket.
Maybe it was our location between dining rooms, or maybe it was because the bustle of the evening was dying down, but service was generally slow, and we went for relatively long periods of time without seeing our server. Otherwise, it was a great meal at a reasonable price with a nice view out the windows at the park.
Amazing service, delicious food. Was too stuffed after for dessert! Best Ol' Fashioned I've ever had.
All of three of us enjoyed our meal. My Old Fashioned cocktail was superb. Shrimp and Grits were perfectly cooked and will balanced in flavor.
Don't recommend Eggs Benedict. Eggs overcooked, muffin stale, sauce limited but ok.
We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, view, and service at Savor. However, the men’s and women’s restrooms were in very desperate need of attention. We called it to the attention of the staff, but the condition had not changed by the time we left. It was bad enough that it makes me question what other areas of the facility were kept this way. For entrees ranging from $25 and up, I expect a clean environment.
Sitting on the patio looking out over Klyde Warren while enjoying a drink and food gave for a nice vibe. The food was good but I think speed of service could be better. Other than that I would definitely recommend Savor!
As well as very nice food and service, It is great people watching and seeing the diversity of Dallas enjoying the park and downtown.
I always love it here, no matter the time of day or season. The food is always fresh & tasty with a rotating menu and the dining room is so beautiful and calming - you forget that you’re right in the middle of Dallas.
My wife and I were visiting downtown Dallas for a couple of days and stopped there for lunch. We were greeted by a welcoming host and waited on by an equally helpful and pleasant waitress. The food was outstanding; my scallops were probably the best I've ever had, and were even better due to the bed of potatoes they were on...absolutely amazing. I wasn't paying attention to prices, so I won't comment on that. The restaurant is surrounded by glass so we were able to watch the kids and people play in the grass par outside. We were there on the 4th of July and asked about fireworks and they were very helpful in giving pointers. Just before we left I stopped in the restroom and was surprised by the juxtaposition...ugh. That's the only reason for only 4 stars.
Very nice place, great view of park. Food was delicious and served prompt. Sevice was good even though it had gotten busy.
Went on a Monday with a group of 6, was unaware they closed when the park closes at 8. Keep in mind to check closing hours when making dinner reservations! We discovered the pinot noir we ordered was expired after tasting and there was no problem getting replacement, great service!
We went to savor for a family birthday dinner celebrating my sister in law and had an amazing experience! Erin was an awesome server! She went above and beyond and had a really fun personality that made our dinner even better.
Food was very good: beautifully presented and tasty although the portions were small. With the high prices, I expect exceptional service. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. Our server seemed rushed and distracted. I felt nickel-and-dimed by the upcharges for substitutions. I don't mind paying for something my way, but this really came off as a nuisance charge for inconveniencing the restaurant.
We had tickets for a concert at the AT&T Performing Arts Center and chose Savor because it was close by. We were entertaining out of town guests so we wanted to enjoy a nice dinner before the concert. Savor delivered on every level. First, it was so nice to watch the families playing on the grassy lawn outside the windows. The ambience inside the restaurant was perfect. The four of us were able to enjoy our conversation without straining to hear over the noise. The food was also just perfect. My husband said his scallops were the best he’s ever tasted and my sister said her steak was the best she had ever had. The service was timely without being rushed. All in all a great experience in a beautiful setting. Give it a try.
Took first timer there, and knew that it would live up
to past experiences. Service, food, ambience, etc. It did.
Great food and great service, we had a wonderful dinner time.
Thought the food was better than we expected. Unfortunately the service didn't live up to it but the ambiance was awesome with glass all around
