   I don't like to leave negative reviews....we had made a booking. Arrived on time and directed to an 'unmade' table. We sat and waited... and waited...and waited. No one seemed interested in the fact that we'd been sat to our table. We could see two waiters running about as though the end of the world had happened - looking stressed. Someone at another table had sent their food back - and the chef - we could see him - didn't look impressed. We waited further. It was very noisy and just felt wrong...we could see it wasn't going to be a pleasant evening. Only when we stood to leave did the waiter show interest in us but, of curse, by then it was too late - we left - with no regrets! Eating is is meant to be an enjoyable expereince and not filled with the waiter's/chefs stresses. Anyhow can't comment on the food so I left a middle review as i had to tick something. Wouldn't go back...ever.

   Dinner for six. The food of very varied quality, from inedible mussels drowned in rancid cooking oil to quite decent lamb shanks. The overall service highly amateurish.

   Had eaten there several times in the past and enjoyed it. The food was OK, and as we ate around 2030 and didn't have to hurry off, we didn't experience other recent diners' complaints about not making their curtain up. What did leave me gobsmacked however was the fact that when my wife finished before me, one waiter tried to clear my plate while I was still eating, knife and fork in hand! I fear this is the end of our relationship (with Savoir Faire, not my wife), though I will miss the neck ache experienced while reading the bon mots scrawled on the ceiling.

   Lovely restaurant and the food was of good quality. Unfortunately we had to hurry the waiting staff as were having a pre-theatre meal and we hadn’t had our order taken or been offered any drinks for 25mins after arriving. Even after expressing we needed to be finished by a certain time we were told we would have plenty of time for a starter and main and this simply wasn’t the case. I managed half my meal before we had to leave to catch our show. More realistic advice from the staff would have been appreciated rather than having to rush (and not finish) what was actually a very tasty meal. I would go back if I had at least an hour to spare per course, not one for quick service.

   Lovely lunch and excellent service, the goats cheese starter was so tasty as was the chicken supreme. Will be back!

    Good food, decent value and a nice location. Staff was small and service okay not great. Good before theatre meal
