This is neither a chain restaurant nor a franchise, it is a family owned and run restaurant and has been in business since 1995. At Savoir Faire we aim to restore serenity through serving delicious, traditional Italian food and drinks within a space that will allow you to escape from the daily pandemonium of London life.

Savoir Faire is a unique Italian restaurant consisting of hand-painted murals and in a rustic chic settings. There’s a vintage feel to the interior, the two floors decorated with bawdy wall drawings and bills for West End musicals, the clutter of closely packed tables managing to suit both large groups and romantic dates.

Whether you are shopping at nearby Oxford Street or visiting popular London landmarks such as The British Museum, Dominion theatre and Shaftesbury theatre you can wind down with our scrumptious Italian and French food and house wines. We’d booked a table but they didn’t have a he reservation ! The food was over cooked. Not unpleasant but not up to the normal standard.

I prefered when it was a French restaurant, there are plenty of italian restaurants and Savoir Faire should have remained French

The ambience was cozy. The service was ridiculously lacking. I understand it was NYE and it might had been understaffed. It was so difficult to get anyone’s attention to check on our order, let alone telling us they would be with us soon. The food was alright. I honestly can not recall being left alone for that long in any restaurant. The meal took three hours to finish when we finished entrees in about the first hour. I couldn’t even get my coffee. It was manageable to me as most patrons had finished their meals on the ground level.

The restaurant decor has been left unchanged since the 90’ … chairs are ripped and stained, the walls seem crumbly, the lights are broken… the waiters are forgetful, we were asked for our order 3 times because they ‘forgot’ what we ordered. I didn’t see them taking any notes .. perhaps this would be a solution .. they also came with the wrong order a couple of times …the food was ok but highly overpriced for what it is .. how this place is still in business is a mystery…

Excellent French restaurant. Cuisine, service, atmosphere, all is at top. Even the French music from the 80s. Merci beaucoup

It was pretty good but they were really understaffed. Also there were long gaps with them seating us and bringing us menus, bringing us food and the silverware and napkins, and bringing bottles of wine and then actual glasses. They were friendly and food was lovely, but not great.

While the lamb shank was tender and flavorful, the restaurant is due for a complete renovation. Torn leather chairs, Christmas lights hanging on the window, hand written messages on the wall and paint on wall needing repair. The waiter was very courteous and food was ok, but don’t expect a fine dining experience.
