This place is a hidden gem, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food of course is the star of the show. Our reservation was for four people and each one of us was raving about our meals, appetizers AND desserts. I think we have found a new regular spot!

I grew up on CSH and was back for a significant high school reunion. I was so glad to see that the beautiful church was utilized in such a wonderful way. The restaurant exceeded my expectations and will be my go to from now on.

My girlfriend and I came here for a little catch-up—haven’t seen each other in forever and wanted somewhere local, chill, and not overly packed. Sandbar was perfect. I got the warm lobster roll and OMG… literally the best one I’ve had on Long Island. Like, not even close. So buttery and fresh. We shared the lava cake for dessert and I swear the ice cream on the side was the best I’ve ever had. The food is always on point here—super consistent and just hits every time. Vibes were cozy, service was great, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Already planning our next visit.

We love Sandbar. The bar staff are incredible, James and Bonnie are professional and friendly. The servers and bussers are friendly and thorough. All the hostesses are great at making everyone feel comfortable. Service and food are terrific.
