This is the second time in recent months that my family was very disappointed in our meal at Sandbar. The appetizers as usual, including the chick pea fries, and cheese board were spot on. All four of our main courses misses the mark. The pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu had hard, inedible pieces of mushrooms that I had to pick around. The meat was under seasoned and the whole dish was unappetizing. My husbands strip steak was chewy and also flavorless. The only outstanding thing on his plate was the mashed potatoes. I don’t know if it is change of staff related to COVID, but many of our usual restaurants are just not as good S they used to be. I understand the lack of waitstaff, that is almost the new normal now. But the poorly cooked food is unacceptable.

This was our second time dining at Sandbar and we loved it even more! The food is creative, delicious and amazing. Along with it was amazing service and hospitality.

This is my 4th time here. The appetizers were good and have been every visit we had chick pea fries, duck tacos and pizza. The entrees on every occasion were just not good at all. I have had an tasted almost all the entrees they offer. The only one that hasn’t been cooked poorly or way over seasoned is the pappardelle with short rib. The dessert donuts are delicious but all other desserts I’ve had were not good as well. I have never had the burger or mahi taco’s.
Price wise, they price there entrees as a high end restaurant would and should. The only problem is the product not even being close to good enough for that. It’s a shame because the space is very nice. Nice decor, dining room, and bar area. They do cram tables in the dining room area to where you can barely get in and out of your chair with out bumping another table.
I would only say it’s really worth going to for appetizers and drinks or maybe lunch. I hope they seriously improve there entrees. This place should be a great spot to eat with consistent high quality food. Unfortunately they have missed that mark on multiple occasions
We visit this restaurant quite often but the last few time we were there the food was not quite as good. I had the pork chop which was very tough and a little dry. My wife had the sword fish which had no taste and was over cooked and dry. Given the amount of money it costs to eat at this restaurant we would have expected the meals to match
Menu is limited and all dishes taste mediocre.

New Years Eve Dinner
New Year’s Eve , we were not aware a a special smaller menu for New Year’s Eve , but everything was delicious as usual , staff lovely and we had a wonderful evening here . Def a great restaurant for a elegant dinner .

The Sandbar is a great spot for Sunday brunch! The restaurant is warm, inviting and decorated quite nicely. The host and our server were very attentive and helpful. The food was quite good - we had the Breakfast Biscuit and Eggs Benedict.
Most importantly, they are requiring guests to be vaccinated!! This requirement and their attention to covid related precautions made us feel very comfortable.
I wish I got our waiters name. I have the most ridiculous allergies and he was so gracious dealing with me. Even knew what dessert to give me before I asked. Everything was delicious. Will be recommending!!
First time there . Had such a great dinner, good service and the atmosphere was so nice for the holidays. Noise level was not an issue which was a pleasant surprise. Great experience!
The bread served before the meal was hot. We started out with a chopped salad and tuna tartare. The chopped salad was delicious and had a little bacon in it to make it that much more tasty. The tuna tartare was fantastic with lots of avocado on top. Don’t ask for soy sauce as there was so much flavor in the dish. For dinner my wife had the scallops. The scallops came out hot. The vegetables and the squash should have been hotter. She told me the scallops were quite good. As a side we got the risotto. That came out hot and delicious. I had the duck for dinner. It was a home run. Hot, delicious and cooked to perfection. One of the best duck dinners I’ve had. Leave room for dessert. The chocolate chip skillet cookie was fantastic. Skip the milkshake and ask for a side of ice cream with it. The flan was also excellent. The service was excellent and very attentive. Great place.
Seated by a respectful kind sweet gentleman asking for our covid vaccination card which I appreciate immensely , seated at a lovely table near the window. Ambiance is beautiful, only complaint is the heat is on too high .
Our waitress jackie was sweet kind as very informative and recommended everything to our liking to a tee! The drinks are amazing , great bartender and the food delicious. A local beautiful gem . Love it here and will be back often .
It was busy for a Monday night and so it felt a bit slow and understaffed. The drinks and wine selection were great. The waiter was friendly and pleasant. The food was good, although my son felt there was no cajun flavoring in sandwich with that name.

Celebrated a double birthday at brunch today. Cocktails didn't disappoint! The Harvest margarita was perfection. The chick pea fries, muscles in coconut curry sauce, oysters and entrees through dessert were all fantastic. Our guests were raving from start to finish. Edward, our server, was very pleasant and his service was on point. Can't say enough good things. Cheers!!

It was daughters 24th birthday. The food service and ambiance is wonderful. We had oysters, chick pea fries ( so good) the pecan crusted chicken, salmon, and scallops delish. Desert cappuccino ( excellent) ricotta donuts and vanilla shake and chocolate chip cookie yummy. The town is so beautiful with 18th century buildings and cute shops

Worst service ever and very mediocre food. We waited an hour and a half after being seated just to get our salads. No bread...they ran out. ^sorry we are having a big party^. So? I still have to pay full price for my meal right? I had to wave the server over multiple times just to ask for anything. Dinner came at the two and a half hour mark. But the worst part was the manager. He was unbearably rude. When we complained, he did nothing so when we spoke up again he reluctantly offered us a drink. When it never came he blamed us and said we didn't say yes. Then he brought three drinks for four people. No one apologized a single time for taking a total of three hours for apps and entrees. My scallops were bland and undercooked. The decor is pretty but so is mine at home, where I would have been better off

As a prix fix for thanksgiving this was a terrible choice. We had to order appetizers to dessert immediately and yet our food took FOREVER. Our reservation was for 5:30pm and we didn’t get the check until 7:30. Our waitress seemed to not want to serve our table at all. She never checked on us for a second round of drinks or how our food was, but she could be found hanging out at her other tables. All her tables around us including ones that came in and ordered after us were served and done way before us. Overall the food was disappointing, but even worse my scallops were fishy and gross. That’s just a health hazard. I ate one and decided to stop because I did not want to get sick (this was the right decision since I am currently in significant intestinal distress from just one). When the the waitress came to clear the plates and she took my mostly untouched entree and she said nothing, so my dad did mention to her the reason it hadn’t been eaten. She didn’t care, no one ever addressed it. She never bothered to take a coffee order. Then the desserts we ordered almost 2 hours before took another 20 minutes. At one point I got up to find the waitress or the manager to get the check so we could leave and I couldn’t find anyone. Additionally, if you are at all concerned about Covid cleanliness you should be aware that though they wipe down the tables between each service, they did not clean the place mats that they left at each place setting for the entire meal. Absolutely disappointing and disturbing.
my fish was delicious...my husbands turkey was a very very small portion for 75 dollars...and the pumpkin pie was horrible...
I just live this place. Its very pleasant, the service is good and the food , whether lunch or dinner never disappoints
