This is a safe choice for a nice dinner out The food is good, not great but good. The truffle popcorn is delicious. The pork chop was also delicious. The mashed potatoes were instant and the pork chop deserved a heartier mashed potato to support it. I was disappointed with the limited choice of pasta selections and that every dessert had expresso in them.

Brought a good friend here to catch up as she has never gone there before. Went on a pasta special night and it was awesome as we were both on a budget. The portions were very nice and the flavours were great. As a result, we were able to share an appetizer and even dessert because of the special pricing on pasta. She's hoping to bring her mom there for her birthday.

Ambiance not quite what wanted for birthday dinner with only hubby & I. Seated beside large table celebrating something. Appreciate it was Sunday special pasta night. Had early reservation & appeared lots of empty tables in other sections. Food WAS awesome though. Not familiar with their wine list so was nice to be able to sample the wine before ordering a glass.

we have been to san remo about 5 times over the past year and to my pleasant surprise, the staff has remembered our preferred beveraages as well as what we ordered previously. amazing. we feel like welcomed and valued guests each time we drop in for a lunch or dinner. their friendly service now keeps us coming back again! the food has always been good and prepared to our liking as we have a habit of making changes to our orders. a very good menu and sometimes a busy place to visit.

We have been there at least a dozen times before and it has been wonderful. This time the service was not great and the food was very disappointing. Regret taking my wife there for our Wedding Anniversary.

Went for dinner with friends. Food was great including the popcorn appetizer. Service was slow. A Caesar salad was totally forgotten. Finally arrived with no apologies. Our dessert arrived after everyone was finished their coffee. We expected it to be noisy and it was.

We will definitely come back again but it was very noisy which was largely due to screaming children which is to be expected on $10 past Sundays.

We used to love taking friends to this neighborhood gem....but it has changed and is not as good as it used to be. We had booked for Saturday evening...the place used to be full and energetic, this time it was empty with only a few tables occupied. The menu was much more contracted than it used to be...the server told us it had been changed the day before. There were far fewer menu choices than before but still a fair variety, just not what I used to love ordering. My friend had the lamb chops and it was good but my pasta was very ordinary...not as much attention paid to it as before. At 10pm, the servers started cleaning the restaurant...not just the tables but the chairs too, lining the chairs up in rows and stacks in the middle of the restaurant around our table! We figured that was a sign they wanted us to leave so they could close up shop. They may just have to close up shop forever if that is the service one gets at what used to be my favorite place to have a great meal and stay for good conversation.
