This place is great! Atmosphere is energetic and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is wonderful and great time for friends to eat and chat.

10/10 experience! The food, as always, is incredible here, but what made it better was the service. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive, but the star of our experience was the host, Gary!!!!!!!!! Gary was the highlight of our night and should be the face of Mokutanya. Give that man a raise.

I took my boyfriend cuz he’d never been to Japanese bbq and he loved it. The food was incredible! We went during happy hour and the value was incredible. We got the value bbq and it came with so many different types of meat, salad, edamame, white rice, miso soup, veggies, and more. We also got the spicy tuna volcano and it was delicious. Because of where we sat, noise was no issue. There are also dividers that separate the tables that help reduce noise. We had no problem hearing our conversations. We cannot wait to go back!
