Luis was incredible in service and Frank the general manager even came over to let us know that we get 10% off for living at the hotel! The steak was incredible, and the Caesar salad was wonderful. The cauliflower and brussels sprouts were half oil half vegetables which made them very greasy and the cauliflower didn’t even seem cooked. It was incredibly noisy, but the service and general manager and stake and wine made up for it.

I am a big fan of Tardiff’s and go there frequently, so I was excited that Chef Tardiff had purchased The Creek. I’ve been going to The Creek for years and to be honest it’s always been consistent and good food but felt like a place so dated. That old “tea room” feel. I was looking forward to seeing what changes Chef had made. He did make changes in the menu, bar, and the staff, which were all apparent and appreciated. Service was top-notch (a rarity in Boerne). The food was good although we did have to return one item that was overcooked. I did hope to find a few of my Tardiff favorites on the menu (like steak tartar) but did not. Still, it is the best fine dining experience in Boerne, but I just couldn’t get over that the atmosphere is so dated. Nice to have this quality of restaurant in Boerne, but I’ll make the drive to Tardiffs.
