   The food was great and the service was also great. The wine and cocktail selection was only okay -- I feel that they could do better there. Otherwise, we loved everything and our waitress was attentive, friendly, and great at making recommendations. We always love Sambuca!

   Haven’t been to Sambuca in a while and am so glad we went last week. Service and food were terrific. Very helpful with gluten free menu items. There was a big selections of entree specials. Will definitely return.

   After visiting many times this time was a disappointment. Bread was ice cold, wrong entree presented and dinner for 4 extremely expensive.

   My husband and I ate at Sambucca many times before the Pandemic and always enjoyed it very much so when some lady friends and I were treating a friend to dinner I suggested we go there What a colossal mistake Ordered a veal dish The veal was tepid as was the pork entree another person at the table ordered and the vegetables cold as were hers Pasta dishes were hot My complaints seem to be met with indifference Not a good experience at all

   Made reservations with open table for 6:45pm arrived at 6:40pm table not ready , seated at bar had cocktails , was told table was refreshing, 40 minutes later seating , after waiting was seated , but no staff arrived at table for another 20 minutes … decided to leave , whole evening was was not acceptable… can’t understand that reservation was booked with OPEN TABLE and establishment not ready to accommodate , either OPEN TABLE overbooked or establishment..

   Very disappointed in open table! Made a reservation thru you, when I got to the restaurant there was no record of it! The owner went beyond helping us! He found us a table ion a full reservation night! Food was amazing as usual! Will definitely be going back again! Although I will be making the next reservation directly with the restaurant!!

    The piano was a nice touch but we were seated right next to it so was a little loud. The waitress had to yell over it. Waitress was also annoyed we split the check, and made it known. Otherwise food was great, wished we got dessert bc it looked amazing! Will be back.

    Incredible place to visit. Food is the best around. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I travel across the country often and find that the best Italian food is in our own back yard

    Food, servers, atmosphere were all great. The only issue we and a few other tables had was the lighting was a little too low to read the menus. Several of us had to use the flashlight on our phones 😊. I would absolutely recommend Sambuca Grille to friends and family.

    Delightful experience. The restaurant was crowded, but the service was outstanding. Food was delicious and prepared with attention to detail. Portions were perfect size. No room for dessert but they looked delicious.

    Had to wait twenty minutes for a table with a reservation. Service was fair and not attentive at all. Was seated close to piano and was hard to hear companions at times. Food and drinks were very good.

    As always the food was delicious. I had a veal entree which was quite tender. My husband had the pork chop special and enjoyed his as well. We have never had a problem with any of the food. Highly recommend.

    We had a reservation at 5:30 on a Saturday (they only open at 4:30) and the restaurant was packed - a very good sign!!! The menu is nicely varied so you shouldn’t have any problem finding something you’re interested in trying. My brother tried an appetizer special, fried burrata and he said it was wonderful. I had a half order of pasta as my appetizer (rigatoni filetto pomodoro) which was amazing. I always appreciate when a restaurant will give you a half order as an appetizer. We both had the pollo dijon and requested it over pasta instead of with potato and veggies - no problem. The dish was excellent… the sauce did not have an overpowering mustard taste. The main courses were excellent sized portions. The wine list has a nice selection of American and imported wines with many in the $50 - $60 range. We had a nice Pinot Grigio Santa margherita. My brother also had a chocolate martini which he regretted not getting a second!!! They offer a small selection of deserts, but the two we had were delicious (I strongly recommend the chocolate cake - small, but VERY dense and chocolatey!!!). I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where there was a neighborhood Italian restaurant on nearly every corner… Sambuca Grille is sort of an upscale version of those amazing restaurants I frequented in Brooklyn.

    This place is not what I expected...its was absolutely horrible...it only took then 45 minutes to get bread on the table :"" that came out cold""".they dont even offer a salad with a meal ......I ordered the chicken Marcella dinner..The sauce was nasty the mushrooms where canned,, what the hell is that...the potatoes had no test at all..and the green beans where soggy and test less...on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this place a 2....after being in the restaurant business for over 20 years ..myself I would have been ashamed of putting this in front of a costum....

    Nice small restaurant. I consider this a date, special occasion place, but I did see one large family With children. I do enjoy restaurants where the waiters know how to time the service and this was one of those places. I was visiting in Scranton and would highly recommend this to tourists.
