*** Due to recent events, Salvador & Amanda will be offering limited food & drink menus.
Happy Hour is 5pm to 7pm Tuesday – Saturday***
Food is always good, service was slow and lacklustre considering hospitality is suffering so much right now. Lacked amazing service sadly
Poor. Like a nightclub
Good food, quick which was needed after a lot of walking. Quite a dark venue (tapas bar feel)
It’s a nice cosy place with great music, food and drinks! Loving the happy hour :) Staff were friendly and attentive when needed assistance and ensuring we are ok. Excellent service team will definitely be on my list next time round
Don't bother trying to book a table if any of your party are under 18 years old! It doesn't say so anywhere on their website, but they don't allow under 18s in, so we were turned away. It ruined our evening out as we ended up wasting a huge amount of time trying to find somewhere else to eat as most other places were fully booked.
If you've got a policy - LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT!!!!!!
Food was disappointing. I have been before and it was lovely but this visit it was very below par!
Food was soggy, luke warm, not very appealing to look at! Taste was nice but it wasn't as good as
I remember it being on previous visits!
Great service, lovely host, really helpful! We called and they didn’t have a table free but laid up a table in the bar for us which was lovely!
They got our order wrong, and because we were going to the theatre we didn’t have time to get the correct meal. The food was ok, but definitely not great. It’s better for large groups that just want to drink.
When I arrived the restaurent did not have my booking. Me and my friends, although we planned forweeks, were turned away. The guy at the door only apologised. Awful!
Love the atmosphere and food, attentive manager, asking for a bill four times was a let down as we were running late for a theatre. I have also requested a cake/personal touch for my friend as it was her birthday, which was not received nor mentioned and that’s a shame.
Unfortunately the food here was unpleasant. Warmed up or out of the microwave. Live music didn’t materialise despite being advertised. Very disappointing.
Lovely atmosphere, good food and great wine also loved the flamenco dancing!
Shows are just finished in 25 minutes and it did not start on time. Foods are not good and tasty.
Fantastic food @ great value. We ordered 3 tapas per person and struggled to finish everything! Flamenco dancer was fabulous too!
Happy hour ! Had pre theatre menu ! Nice standard Tapas and atmosphere, Sangria could be a bit punchier. Lovely friendly waiting staff felt really welcomed. Lively but also small booths for a bit more intimacy. Would def go again and next time for the flamenco show.
Very good food. Wine list a little bit to short. Ambience correct but volume to loud to speak.
Our reservation was at 5.
Restaurant did not open till 5.10
We were restricted for timing due to theatre reservation.
By the time we ordered it would have taken ages.
Waiters was argumentative and did not understand our concerns .
I have previously been but will not be rushing back due to their poor service ...
Lovely Spanish food, excellent service at affordable prices
This place has good reviews and it was in the location that we wanted, but it is a place for the young and not the middle aged. As you descend into the basement and the music is blaring you realise you have made a mistake, we even had a glitter ball above our table!! There are two for one drinks before 9pm, they were pretty aweful & our waitresses could not converse or hear us in English well enough to even understand when we asked about wine...vino. The food was actually pretty good, but it was not the ambience for us so we left on as soon as we had eaten. Would be a great place for younger folk.
Great selection of tapas. Quick and easy. Good service.
The pre-theatre menu is great value. Bread, olives and a small sharing platter of ham and cheese to start, then two tapas each which you choose from a short list followed by a small selection of desserts chosen by the restaurant to finish. All this for only £12.90 per head plus drinks.
Good food, cooked fresh, quite expensive and difficult to know how much to order
This restaurant is amazing, lovely friendly staff, quick service with the food, large portions, warm and comfortable settings, good presentations and enjoyed the food, it was my husband birthday and we just wanted something different, we both enjoyed the food, we were so fulled up after the tapas we couldn’t eat anything else, totally recommendations
I've been there a few times. Very nice atmosphere. Excellent food. Friendly and polite Spanish waitress.
Dinner was fairly disappointing. We wanted to order Paella but on Mondays you have to call and pre order. Except I’d been trying to call for 3 days and the call kept going to mailbox which was full! On the day we left feeling not very full after exhausting most of the veggie options. Disappointing service overall. Not sure I would visit again.
I visited together with my date early evening during Happy Hour. We both enjoyed the Tapas, cocktails were good and bottles of wine were exceptional value considering this place is in central London. The low light and live music really added to the whole ambience. Altogether my date was a rousing success! Many thanks, we’ll definitely visit again.
Lively atmosphere, innovative menu, excellent service, and flamenco entertainment.
Lively venue near Leicester Square. Good value tapas and friendly service. Live flamenco and loud music so not good if you want a catch up but great for fun night out.
Fun pre-theatre meal. Reasonable food, good price, loved the flamenco.
Would be great for a party. The music was loud but we loved it. Service was friendly. We went mid-week before 8pm theatre. Flamenco from 7pm.
Arrived on Saturday lunchtime, place was empty. We were told that we had to order from a much restricted menu for 15 pounds per head. Menu lacked some of the classic basics you’d expect (ham, cheeses). There was no bar tender, so they weren’t able to make cocktails or sangria. Food was average st best and some of it felt re-heated. For money paid, very disappointed
Great service, food is good, tapas, good for two people or groups, I'll be going back
The food and service was of a very high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend Salvador and Amanda to friends and family and we shall definitely return here. In fact, we are already talking about returning for my partners birthday. Literally nothing that we would change about our dining experience and we've talked about how lovely it was ever since!
We went for some tapas and to enjoy their great happy hour deal but after a few minutes inside, we decided we had to leave. It was dark inside and the service was to close to none. I can tell that it gets quite rowdy later in the night - I guess we're too old for the crowd of Salvador and Amanda.
Pre-theatre drinks and tapas before heading next door to The Arts Theatre. Ideal location, with really nice staff, and a decent selection of tasty tapas. My cocktail was a bit sweet, but I wasn't complaining as, being happy hour, it was very good value. Decent basic house wine. Good music at a not-too-irritating volume. It's a bit of a cavern, and it might have been a bit much if it had been really busy, but it was fine for us, and we will return. Great to find somewhere independent so close to Leicester Square.
So I went there for lunch with my partner. we each had the 3 tapas and a drink for £12. my goodness, it was really filling. I had a bowl of chips, 4 meatballs which I shared so I 2, and some chicken wings. the chicken wings did lack flavour but a good ol' sprinkle of salt will fix that lol. you get a very good amount of chips. So if you're unsure of what to get just make sure you get chips as they will compensate for anything else you may not enjoy. But overall, I think its a very nice place to have an intimate lunch in. I can only imagine it getting very busy as it does turn in to a disco later in the evening. during lunch from 12 its very quiet. So its best to go then.
Very happy with the vybes and the food and drink. Thank you Salvador and Amanda.
It was honestly the best tapas I’ve ever had! Defo recommend it. Gibbs was our waiter and he was excellent! we are defo going back
We had a lovely time , the food was gorgeous and service was good. The place is really well decorated and has a quirky touch .
Everything was lovely, however they really need to pay more attention to the restrooms they let the place down big time .
Staff were lovely, food was good and great value with an extended happy hour on drinks.
Booked last minute after reading reviews and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff, lovely food, especially the chorizo lollipops! Didn't feel hurried at all and Happy Hour was good value.
Went here for a Birthday meal before the Opera. Service was very good, the waiter was very attentive and the food was very nice. Slightly disappointed on the salmon portion but overall was very nice food.
