Great location, pretty good service but the food wasn’t all that great. Neither were the mimosas, great value for bottomless but bland and makes you feel terrible afterwards. All in all, I would return.
Steaks were very good. Happy hour drinks were tasty. Good fun ambience. A little loud because of people and acoustics inside, not because of music. Vibrant Sat. Evening fun. My wife was asked if she wanted some water, but I wasn’t. Waitress brought her water but I didn’t get any or was asked. I had to ask. Just a little odd. We were running a little late and called to let them know and when we arrived, they still had our table ready with zero wait. Overall not a bad place at all. Check it out.
We loved the food and the service was awesome
Family dinner for 7 people - great experience! Zack was our server and he was friendly accommodating and attentive. We initially sat outside and the staff quickly moved us in when it started raining. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. 5 stars!
it was very nice
My waitress was great I wish I could remember her name
Food was really good
The service and ambiance were wonderful. The food was meh... I had the pork roll from the brunch menu. It was actually a ham sandwich with what looks like deli sliced ham with an egg and some cheese. It was just okay. I also had the red velvet cake with white chocolate frosting. The cake was also okay. Was a little bit on the dry side, nothing to write home about. On the plus side we sat out doors it was warm but there was a little breeze. The service was on time and we were not rushed. People sat around just chatting and enjoying themselves. I had a blueberry mojito and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So overall ambiance service and drinks are really good. The food is barely meh.
Definitely make a reservation if you want to eat here, or you’ll be on a waitlist for a while. I had one and still waited a little bit. Due to social distancing, tables were limited, and my friend and I were sat at the back at a table that I sincerely thought was meant for one person. It was a bit noisy, but the food and service were excellent.
Food was very very salt. My son asked for a plain burger and he has to remove all onions from it. French fries were highly salted. My boyfriend had the impression that his meet (filet mignon) was under the quantity, maybe 6 not 8 ounces. It had pieces of salt on top and inside poor flavor. He really like this dish for year and is he ate it always every where then I trust in his complaints. My salmon was dry and without any special flavor.
We expected a better environment for my birthday dinner and was like a bar, nothing like the pictures in the web site, everything looks dirty, stressful people walking everywhere, talking loud, laughing in front of dinner tables, servers looked anxious all the time, one of them drop everything in the floor and was like a joke, many guys came to the table to ask how was the food and we did not know who was who. We had the kitchen behind our table and was to much loud, people talking. Your guys were highly recommended for a friend of mine that works or worked in the kitchen.
I will recommend the place if next time I go and I see some improvements in privacy and calm environment for the dinner space, restriction for many servers in the area, control in the salt in the recipes and more consideration for those who come to the place to have dinner no drinks.
I did not enjoy my birthday there...not even my family...we decide to have my desert and candles some where else.
Don’t go here if you want a meaningful conversation. We had to scream over the music to be heard. But then it was a younger crowd so there’s that. But the food was typical except 2 things were not available on the brunch menu one of which would have been my first choice.. the avocado toast. They could turn down the music a bit so you could talk and that would have been more enjoyable.
Great service good food good atmosphere
Food was very good. Oysters were fantastic and happy hour menu was a great value. We enjoyed everything we had.
Great service and very good food. Nice for people watching and respectful of social distancing.
Not so great experience. The table was extremely dirty and the restaurant was over 50 percent occupied.
Great food, excellent service. Good options for food.
The two tables next to us did not get the concept of social distancing! Loud, boisterous, and hugging, kissing and general drinking party.
This is a good place to go for drinks, but is not really a restaurant. The food is overpriced and not good.
I made a reservation for an outside table. 40 minutes after my reservation time, I was given a table in the dark back, by the kitchen. People were spending 3+ hours at the outside tables drinking and the hostess was, “Oh, well. Sorry.”
My table in the back was over a long A/C vent that runs the length of the restaurant and water was sweating/leaking constantly right over all the booth tables, so a worker would come by with a mop and wipe it down every few minutes right over your food!
The burger was gross. It tasted like it was made cigarette ashes. The steaks and seafood were overpriced for the quality of the cots. The Brussels sprout Caesar was actually pretty good.
The clientele is super trashy. If you want to be around the Jersey Shore scene and a bunch of cougars and really old muscle daddies, then this is your place. Otherwise, head to a place off Atlantic.
Great out door dining spot for happy hour on The Ave
We had great experience at Salt7! Excellent food and service and a fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Very pleasant experience at South seven food was great
Service staff was also very attentive ambience was very good drinks were a bit high priced but very little to complain about
Bathroom not the cleanest looking thing, lots of clutter around sinks. Shared sinks with men's bathroom. Restaurant itself was good.
We went there based on reading they used 7 different salts for seasoning their food, hence the name Salt7. When we got seated we asked what salts were used on what food and were told that they only use plain sea salt and ditched the others a while ago. Not sure why they didn't change the name or their story online as this was the main reason for going so we could try something different.
The meal was good, but not any better than I could have done at home.
The food and service were both excellent
Great food, noisy bar area.
Staff were ok Except that the bus boy kept taking away plates as people finished —it was very rude to the people still eating. The food was incredibly garlicky and incredibly oversauced !!! Keep it simple !!! prices were pretty high and portions were absolutely TINY we had to get a pizza afterwards:(!!!!!
Wonderful food/lovely server-nice environment
We left feeling we would likely not return mostly due to the service. The server, while nice, was not service oriented to the level I would expect for the spend of this restaurant. We eat out frequently. When I pay over $300 for a meal I expect a high level of service and usually get it. We’d not been to Salt before. As soon as we sat down the server came over and just said anything else you want to drink besides water? The whole time she never asked if we’d been there before or had any questions about the menu - which we did. She seemed like she just wanted to take the orders and get on with it. She was most attentive about wanting to take additional cocktail orders. It really was not a great dining experience. The food was good but not great enough to pay this money again for that experience.
All around great experience. All of us enjoyed on meals and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was exceptional and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Loved salt7. Really interesting preparations.
Drinks were watered down and service was quite slow. Disappointing.
Valentines Day dinner
Girls trip in Delray.
Great food and service
Friends gathering. Quiet in the restaurant. Server was on serious side. Bus boy kept trying to pick up on dishes when we weren’t done. Food taste excellent. Drinks overpriced ... we are not in SoBe.
Food and service was so so. Mahi was tough and tasteless. Swordfish was not much better. Not worth the price.
Good was excellent! Service however was not.
Very nice restaurant, I know it was a Monday night , but we were the only 6 in the restaurant at 8 pm. There were a few tables with folks leaving and a few patrons outside at the bar. Food and waiter were excellent, bartender, not so much, she appeared so disinterested and not friendly, never made suggestions, p.s. it reflected in her tip. Wrong girl to be put at that beautiful bar. Probably wouldn’t go back because there are many more restaurants for the same value , but friendlier staff, sorry! Food was outstanding.
Amazing service from Alian and delicious food. My parents are still talking about it how good the food was and how nice the entire staff was throughout our dining experience.
Great meal with friends. All the food (steaks, lamb shank, branzino) was prepared perfectly. The service was attentive without being overbearing. A bit pricey, but worth it. Just one word of caution: when you pull up to the valet parking by the restaurant, you'll see a sign that says $15/$9 with validation, but if you look closely, Salt Seven is not one of the restaurants that validates.
